Everything was great and had a wonderful stay! The only complaint I would have is not taking your own beach chairs and umbrellas. To get a good close spot to the water you would need to rent from the chair and umbrella rentals

The condo location, beach, pool are all great! The layout & furnishing are fine, beds are comfortable, BUT there are almost NO lights in it, sporadic lamps, but no overhead lights or fans. However, there are light switches everywhere that do nothing! This may be standard for Emerald but we found it lacking! Also only balcony sitting for 2! Overall a fine place to stay, just know there’s trade offs for the great rate!

Relaxing vacation

I rented the unit for a nice relaxing vacation. I can tell you it was just that. As soon as we walked in we knew that we are going to come back. The unit is perfect for 4 people. The view from the balcony is amazing.It is close to everything, shopping, dinning and activities. Sitting on the balcony with the evening breeze is all anyone could ask for. The unit is very charming and relaxing with everything you need to enjoy your stay.

You have everything you need. However i did not liked the fact that you cant use your own umbrella on the beach. If you want to use one you have to rent their's. Its kinda expensive too

It is in serious need of maintenance. Some doors don't work . Tuns are too deep and slippery for seniors. Many light switches don't seem to have any function. No instructions for the tv's, etc. Really looks rundown. Encountered a cockroach on the kitchen counter. Grease splatters on the side of the refrigerator. Will never stay at this property again.

We are first timers and really enjoyed our time there. The ability to open the sliding doors to hear the ocean was the best part and was so relaxing. Wish the check in time was earlier especially after a long flight. We would definitely stay again.

I cannot think of anything negative to say about this place. It smelled amazing when we walked in, we had everything we needed and the location was amazing! The whole process was so easy. Definitely will stay again. Wish it was bigger for my whole family to stay next time.

The location and view was perfect. The unit could have been cleaner. There was some mold on the shower curtain in the small bathroom and the unit smelled like mildew. They were doing renovations on the outside. Overall would stay there again.

The listing was inaccurate

The listing had outdated appliances and things that didn't work and couldn't be fixed during my stay. It was overpriced for what was offered. The couch was stained. Also the construction was horrible mad the parking limited. The beach rules are not clear and you're limited where you can place your chairs on the beach. If they want you to rent a umbrella set up then it should be included with every rental. My family and I wasn't trying to put up an umbrella but just wanted to sit closer to the water and wasn't able too. We will not stay here again

Busy place

Accomodations are good but Destin is very busy. If you want a quiet get-away it may not be suitable. Otherwise it is a great visit with a wonderful view.
