I was looking forward to having a heated pool to enjoy, but apparently it was broken. I wanted to purchase sodas but had to go looking for staff down hallways. Housekeeping was friendly and accommodating. Overall property was clean and conveniently located.

My family and I have stayed at this hotel every year for seven years, always during the off-season. Under the previous owner and long-standing staff, the hotel was consistently well run. The cleaning staff in particular has always done an amazing job and has remained kind, professional, and attentive over the years. This review is not about them. Unfortunately, since the change in ownership/management, the experience has declined significantly. Despite booking seven rooms, we encountered poor property maintenance and unprofessional management decisions. The indoor heated pool, one of the main reasons we return each year, was not heated and we were told it was broken and waiting on parts — an issue we never experienced in prior years. Our room had non-working lights, and the water would not shut off properly. When we asked for a late checkout, we were told it would cost $30, even though the nightly rate was $60 which felt unreasonable given our long history and the number of rooms we booked. One of the most upsetting moments involved a family member staying with us who had just learned she has cancer and was experiencing extreme fatigue from her medication. Management complained about her laying down on the couch, rather than showing any level of understanding or compassion. That interaction was deeply uncomfortable and unnecessary. Gorgeous room with private balcony facing the water. Clean, plenty of parking, great wifi and delicious breakfast included. Great price. Staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. Definitely recommend!

Parking was safe and easy. Only complaint I had was people smoking pot everywhere we went at the hotel. To each its own, but it stunk up the whole place! We couldn’t even sit on the balcony at night due to the room below us puffing it up all night long! Lol

My room was great. It felt a little bit damp or stale at times but I didn't have any big issues, and the staff were courteous. Inexpensive option, very easy to drive just across the street to a small public beach or drive down to the Harborwalk or the Commons.
