Loved everything! Wasn't pleased when I reserved a non-smoking room, but ended up getting a neighbor who smoked weed. Had the hallway stinking with the smell down to the elevator. We will return, because we had a wonderful time!!!

Ownership has recently changed. Our room was good - liked having ceiling fan. Bed was comfortable. Quiet except when guests slammed doors. Pool areas seemed very nice. Ask for pool towels. Now the negatives. Forget every expectation about breakfast. We stayed Tuesday to Saturday. M-F is only biscuits and gravy, and sometimes egg patties. No fruit until apples on Saturday. No pastry. Waffles, with bottled Walmart syrup. Extremely inconsistant. One very slow toaster. Coffee machine was out of order first couple of days. Excellent staff who did her best but also sympathetic about new owner’s changes. Housekeeping also extremely inconsistent. I had to get replacement towels, coffee, cups and trashbags. Washer on our floor was out of order. For the price, I would consider other choices.

Phone didn’t work, microwave turntable wouldn’t stay on track, frig didn’t stay cold enough to keep anything in, sheets and towels were very worn out, standing water in shower during showers, tv remote didn’t work, house keeping was not friendly. Minor, but annoying; the do not disturb tag would fall off whenever opening or closing the door.

Everything was mostly 100%. Breakfast (6-9am) was a bit chaotic each day. Everything was mostly empty even if we arrived early, including coffee. But overall good.

The comforter in one of the beds looked like it was not changed. Big dirt marks and debris on blankets. The blinds for the balcony room do not close all the way and you cannot turn off the balcony light to get a good night sleep in the dark. The hot tub was broken and heated pool stopped heating up around 9:30pm. Front desk advised you must purchase utensils. I was charged $124 through Expedia then charged double by the hotel, causing my account to lend $550 vs 240 I was supposed to pay. Just a weird experience I would not come back.

I wasn’t even going to leave a 1 star review until the staff lied & gaslit me. The hot tub was broken our whole stay. It’s the ONLY reason I picked this property, & it was ice cold. As cold as the outside pool. I brought it up to staff 4 times. I was told day 2 it was fixed, so they acknowledged it was broken. It was not fixed. I was told twice that management would contact me. They never did. Upon checkout, I finally spoke to someone who said it was never broken. Yes it was. She also said nobody else complained about it. Yes they did. I witnessed an old man throw a fit about it being broken while I was at breakfast. Multiple other people complained. Everyone that got in the hot tub got out immediately, because the water wasn’t even tolerable. I was told “sorry it wasn’t hot enough for you”. No ma’am. It’s not that it wasn’t hot enough “for me”. There was no warmth to it AT ALL. The indoor pool was warmer than the hot tub, but it was even barely warm so that doesn’t help much. I don’t appreciate being gaslit and making it seem like I was being petty & making something out of nothing. If you are going to advertise an amenity, ensure it’s working. If it’s not, then do something about it & don’t make it seem like it’s the customers fault for expecting something they paid for. I’m sure I’ll get a generic fake apology as a reply to this review, but if they aren’t willing to do something about it, then it means nothing! I’m leaving this review everywhere possible.

I reserved the hotel for Fri, Sat and Sunday. We had an incident with our car and couldn't arrive on Friday. When we get there on Saturday, we found out that tgeybgave our room to someone else and we ended up with no hotel with a small kid. Staff wasn't helpful and looked like they didn't care.

Our room smelled all weekend. We had to ask the staff for disinfectant spray to remove the odor, and the amenities were not easily accessible. We did not get great room service with towels and such. Okay stay for a quick get away.

Check in was easy and convenient. The front desk staff was friendly and professional. We spent the majority of our time at the beach and exploring. Every time we returned to our room to retire for the evening, there was always clean towels provided. The location of the hotel was near the beach and all the restaurants. That was a major plus for me.

We stayed here for three nights and it was a good price for what you get. The hotel was very busy and customer service was lacking a little. One person was working the front desk around check in time so it took a while for me to be able to have my issues resolved with needing more towels and toilet paper in our room. When I asked the girl for them, she just nodded her head and said ok. She didn’t even write the room number down which I thought a little odd especially since she had a large line of guests with other needs. (Perhaps she had a good memory??) When we returned later to our room that evening, there were no extra towels or toilet paper like we had requested so we had to go back down to the front desk & ask again. Our tub was missing a stopper so our young children had to take showers, which they are not fans of. Dead cockroach outside one of the side entrance doors which was gross and it was out there overnight with nobody cleaning it up. Other than that, the facilities were very clean and the room was nice! Worst part of the entire stay was the breakfast situation. Unless you get there right when it starts, there was nothing left on the days we were there. My husband went down a little after 8 am to grab some food and all that was left was some gravy. It seems like they put everything out at 6 am and whatever is left, is left for those who come later. Very unacceptable! Be prepared to get breakfast elsewhere if you’re not an early riser!
