If you are ready to embark on a Hill Country Getaway to remember, don’t follow the crowd…take the Left Fork.

This unique and charming vacation rental located in the heart of the Blanco River Region of the Texas Hill Country sits conveniently located between two popular destinations. Wimberley, known for it’s abundance of artists and charming town square is only minutes away. Driftwood, home of the original Saltlick BBQ restaurant as well as several popular wineries and vineyards is just a few minutes in the other direction.

As you turn down the drive to this cottage you will see the Longhorn cattle grazing in the field as you make your way to your destination. As you climb the stairs to the entry door you will notice the lovely seating area under the covered patio complete with propane grill. Once you enter the home, you cannot help but be enchanted by the rustic elegance of the tastefully selected furnishings and décor.

The open kitchen living and dining are both spacious and comfortable. The open ceiling with exposed beams add to the rustic flair while the beautifully updated kitchen provides balance to the décor. There is one full bathroom upstairs with a walk in shower and a sleeping loft off the living area with a twin daybed.

The two bedrooms are located downstairs where they can share another full bath complete with clawfoot tub and hand held shower attachment. Laundry facilities are also available for guest use for your convenience.

If you are looking to spend time outside, you cannot find a better spot! The unique pool is a definite focal point. A traditional “in-ground” pool but raised to fit with the rustic ambiance of the surroundings. The pool is 5 feet deep and provides a perfect place to cool down in the hot summer months. There is a picturesque outdoor dining area under the majestic oaks and a cozy fire pit, perfect for an evening under the stars.
