Sink drained exceptionally slowly and our feet got firty walking across the floor and kiosk check-in was pathetic.

Difficult to check in. Could not understand the person on the kiosk????????!!! The room smelled, I have allergies had to have windows open to breathe. My husband saw bugs crawling across sill into a home. The shower was slimy, hair dryer was sticky to touch. Needless to say we will not stay at one of these hotels again.

I have never been greeted by a machine.in fact we weren't greeted. Machine was making horrible loud noises. Frequently. receipt was printed it said checkout at 1200 hrs. Gal said 11:00. Husb asked why the difference. Gal ignoring him. Finally said it's 11. Wasn't a prob for us, just wanted to know whyl. She just kept saying11. Worse yet only rm up r down. I can barely stand much less walk but she offered us no choice no elevator. Very painful to get to room. Then entire carpet in room was wet. Very bad experience I really think we deserve our money bk.

From the moment we entered the room, there was a strong, unpleasant odor. It was immediately clear that the bedsheets had not been changed—both queen beds were covered in hair, and the pillows smelled like sweat. This is completely unacceptable. While the bathroom was in decent condition, the overall cleanliness of the room was far below any reasonable standard. To make matters worse, there was leftover food in the fridge from the previous guest. This is not just careless—it’s a serious hygiene issue. How can you operate a business with such poor attention to cleanliness? Every guest deserves a clean, fresh space upon arrival. This experience was not only disappointing—it was unsanitary and unprofessional. I expect a prompt response and appropriate action regarding this matter.

Area around the hotel was unsafe, had a bad smell, bathroom didn’t look clean, blanket was scratchy, heard guests having sexual intercourse, no actual person at the front desk which is very unprofessional and unsafe.

Room needed renovation and repair

The hotel was ok for an overnight stay, but the bathroom needed repair. The tub was badly stained and sink caulk was dirty and damaged. On the upside, the large refrigerator was an unexpected plus. Floors were carpeted and it would be better to replace with a hard floor.

It worked for a 6 hour stay just to get some sleep. A lamp didn’t work in my room, but honestly my biggest complaint was this automatic check in terminal. It felt unprofessional to not have a person there physically. Sure there was a person on the screen, but i couldn’t understand what she was saying due to the low volume and incredibly loud ice machine next to the kiosk. Not a horrible place to stay, especially just overnight. I’d stay there again, but the kiosk terminal just seemed dismissive and impersonal towards the guests.

The property was ok, not fancy but I didn’t expect it to be. However, the check-in was very strange. They have outsourced it to India! There is nobody at the desk. Only a machine with a screen showing a woman who is clearly in India who speaks over an internet connection and is very difficult to understand. The machine requires that you put your ID on a screen to get photographed and then a paper spits out at you that has your room number and check-in/out times. Then another slot spits out your room key card. In the morning another woman was shown on the screen so it’s clear that there is nobody ever at the desk. I was so uncomfortable with it that I won’t stay at Rodeway again.
