The customer service representatives were very professional and helpful. We were allowed to arrive a bit earlier due to a family member’s needs. The room was nice and the bed was quite comfy.

It was good except for on the 1st night we went to hot tub in our complex & a man wearing only a towel was sitting on edge of hot tub in the dark when we walked in... He preceded to show his junk to me while others were in the sauna & I was sitting at a table. Very uncomfortable & we left right away. This was around 9:00pm.

Just staying 2 nights, I didn’t want to unpack my suitcase. There was no room in the bedroom for it, so I used 2 dining area chairs to support and hold it. Was unable to use the 2 controllers to change the room temperature. Did not complain about it because it was a minor issue.

Very scenic property that looks like a great place to stay. However, the customer service is horrible. First they gave me a room that smelled HEAVILY of fresh smoke. Took me three hours until at 11pm they finally offered us a different room. Then the next afternoon demanded we had to be out of the room without a warning and forced us into our third room in 24 hours causing us to be late for a wedding. Staff was never apologetic, and tried acting like this wasn’t their problem.

Worth a stay

Overall we were pleased with our stay at the Landmark. It is well located and reasonably priced for what it is. The decor is dated and in need of an update, but it is clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and we made good use of the amenities. During our stay one of the pools was inoperable for a time and the waking path was inaccessible due to storm damage. However, the complex was fairly vacant and relatively quiet. Perhaps for this reason the rules were not strictly enforced, which depending on your expectations can be a + or -. For example, we saw a host of children in the pool during "adult only" late hours. On the other hand, we were able to quickly relax and feel at ease because there was a lack of rigidity to the place which made it feel more organic and welcoming. My teenage children enjoyed the ability to wander about the grounds and access amenities without constant adult supervision. I don't know if the walking path provides access to town but some guests walked, jogged or biked on the main road just off the property, which has no shoulder, some curves, and cars are going around 45 mph as they pass by: it's not a particularly long road to town, but we chose to drive just the same. I suspect our experience benefitted from being off season, but I would return to Landmark again and would recommend with the caveats I noted.

We were incredibly dissappointed in this property. Pictures look amazing, and the view cant be beat, but it is an old property with small units. We had 1 bedroom with a loft. Tge bedroom was so small, our luggage had to be in the living room. There was not a spave large enough to open a carry on sized suitcase. Units were incredibly hot, even with AC on, had to sleep with the bedroom door open. Upstairs loft was almost miserable for my 20-something daughters. Im glad we were only there 2 nights and another (less expensive, but much better, actually) resort the other 4 nights. Also - wi-fi was terrible. Not a huge bigggie on vavation but we couldn't even get google to load while on property. Overall, very disappointing for the cost. August 2025
