Decent accomodations with great views of the Merced river from the room. Bit outside the park but manageable if no traffic. Restaurants on the property are pricey and offer limited choices. But store is well stocked and rooms have a kitchenette which has cookware and dishes. Highly recommended.

Great location, bring the kitchen stuff you need

We had a king room with hot tub in Sequoia. This is a great location- truly 5 min from the gate , and that is probably the only thing that matters. It was a dog friendly room, only 25 dollars per nite for doggie . The front desk was friendly and helpful but there is no online check in, so wait in line, old school. The room was clean, but old. When it rained we see rain coming through the concrete of the roof over our balcony. The toilet stool leaked onto the bathroom floor so it was always wet around the toilet. The toilet seat hinges were broken, so there was an uncomfortable shift and bang every time we tried sitting down. The kitchen was minimal and random - forks and plates (2) were mismatched, tines on forks were bent - make sure to bring salt and pepper, oil, paper towels, a kitchen towel or two, - (we had 1 provided). Provided was 1 used sponge and a small amount of dishwashing soap. So on my next trip I will bring pretty much everything. I still recommend the place, but be prepared. We planned on buying everything locally, but I am not sure I recommend that in early spring. No one starved, but selection was extremely limited.

This lodge was perfect for our Yosemite visit. The lodge has lots of entertainment options for the kids. Several pools, hot tubs and a game room. Rooms were okay. We had a room that could be a connecting room and you could hear everything on the other room. No privacy in that respect. Because cars are parked right in front of rooms, there’s always the inconsiderate person that locks or unlocks their car with a beep at odd hours of the night. Not many gluten free options on restaurants. It was an average stay, to be honest. And if all you’ll be doing is Yosemite, then this place is totally adequate.

Great location, and lots of fun for kids.

It was such a beautiful hotel, right on the river. Rooms were very spacious for our 6 member family. Not many food options but that's expected in nature, we did enjoy the small shop, got some necessities in the store, and loved the game room, grandma loved playing scrabble.

Filthy Dirty Floors & Room

The floors were so dirty they left our socks and feet black, The room smelled of dirt in addition to the horrible dirty floors. Room service was available upon request but the room was dirty and smelly when we checked in at night.
