They said they were renovating, but it was smelly and dirty throughout. There was no hair dryer or microwave in the room and there was a group of workers sitting outside near our window talking loudly that night. We usually have an amazing experience at Hampton Inns, but our experience this time was terrible!!

The property was under renovation and things were in disarray, dusty and smelling of chemicals. Our room was in the front of the hotel, and the elevator was far away in the back. The room was clean enough but not of the quality we expect from a Hampton. We're elderly and don't do stairs well. Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly.

We didn't realize the property was doing renovations. We had to walk outside to get to the office or breakfast room. One bad thing, was the pool was filthy and definately needed work.

The property was under extensive construction, that’s why the 4 for cleanliness and condition. We didn’t know about the construction when we booked, but we did find out before we stayed. It would’ve been awful if we didn’t know ahead of time and arrived to such a mess. All else was great. We would stay there again. I believe it’s going to be wonderful once the construction is finished.

The place is under construction. People started working at 7 in the morning. There was dust everywhere. Plaster on the rugs everywhere. No hot water one day and no water the next day. The shower floor was slick and I had to put a towel down to keep from falling. I payed right at 600 dollars for this nightmare. Not sure I will use your service again.

Stayed overnight with my kids and was looking forward to it based off reviews. However when we got there the hotel is under construction doing renovations. Wished that would have been disclosed prior to booking so I could have made a different choice. We were not able to walk thru lobby to get to our room instead had to walk around the building outside which is not preferable with 2 children and the sun going down. Also no breakfast was available as there was a sign that some amenities would be unavailable due to construction.

In the middle of remodeling. Workers were loud and talked loud. Kids out in parking lot were messing around and loud. High school boy checked us in. Another high school boy checked us out. They were polite though. Hot breakfast was ok, but workers were loud at 8am. Tables were dirty. Ran out of coffee by 9am and not replenished before we left.

The property was under a significant amount of construction. About a quarter of the parking was gone in an already small parking area. Breakfast quality was poor; much lower than when we stayed in the same hotel 2 years ago.

The staff was excellent...Rooms clean and pillows were terrible. Had to move rooms due to renovation noise. Even though we moved way down hall the renovation then was above us Husband has medical issues and could not rest. We left a day early even though we had paid for another night.

Rough check in

Upon check-in (I reserved through a third party), I was told I needed to pay again. I showed him my confirmation from the third party, and he said it was unacceptable. After much back and forth, it was finally straightened out. Then he told me he needed my credit card for a $10 fee. I asked what for and he told me it was for the third party. Again, I said, No. Again, after going back and forth about it, I gave up and let him run my card. In the morning, I asked the lady at the desk, and she told me that it was a hold for incidentals. I would think he should have known that information. I also had trouble because I had 2 reservations. We decided to come a night earlier than initially planned. The young man told me that he checked me in for my entire stay, but he had not. I wondered what would have happened to my things while I was gone since I had not been checked in for the next 2 nights.

This is a very nice property and the people were amazing…the breakfast was awesome…they got our room ready early so we could get in early for our train ride… I would definitely recommend this place

It was a handy location. The carpet was very worn. Ice machine on 2nd floor was not working. Had to go all the way back down the hallway to get elevator down to 1st floor then down the long hallway to 1st floor ice machine and back up to 2nd floor room.
