This is a true 3.5 hotel. It's older, but kept pretty clean and the front desk was very friendly. This was a stop in a long trip to Arizona. I would stay here again.

The hotel was a great place to stay. Casino was nice (no smoke that we noticed), rooms were clean (although the hotel was set up so that if you're in the far complex, its a long walk to the casino). Parking is easy. Although we did have to initially change rooms due to a couple of maintenance issues, the staff was very responsive and got us situated in another room very quickly. We did find out that the hotel and casino are changing ownership, so our hope is that the new owners take as good care of the place and staff as the current owners. Thank you for a good night at Maverick Hotel/Casino.

Nice casino/hotel, but beginning to show it's age. 1) Needs new toilet seats. 2) The bathroom exhaust fan didn't work. On the other hand: 1) The casino noise is well-separated from the rooms; a very nice layout. 2) GREAT food; as always !My New York steak was very tender, juicy, and cooked to a perfect medium rare. My wife's pan-seared salmon was perfectly seared on the outside and very tender and tasty on the inside. 3) Very friendly and helpful staff
