LOGE was a great option for us with a big family. We had two cabins that were perfect. The road to cabins isn’t well marked so drive slow when trying to find it. The beds were super comfy!

Loved our little cabin! But did NOT like the lack of clearly marked signs as to how to get to the cabin! Especially when traveling in the dark. And the Potholes in the gravel road will ruin the suspension on the best of trucks! The property needs to spend some money on proper signage and fixing up their road to the cabins! Beware- it is very remote !

They charged a amenity fee of 107.96. This was not shown in the price.. We left and it showed up as a extra charge apart from the original price we knew about. This isn't right. We didn't use anything of theirs, except pay for the nightly stay. This is just another way to get more money fro. You.

Great location, one stop shop

Overall, great place to stay with family with a cute game room, outside play area, bar and restaurant on site. The bfast menu was limited and so we didn’t eat there for breakfast as our kids wanted pancakes or waffles. The instant coffee provided in cabin was appreciated and the yeti bear proof cooler came in handy for our daytime adventures. we also did laundry so having that was helpful. We liked ending our day with a beer and the bar had a good selection of draft and canned beer. The trains were fun to watch and gave a unique experience. The staff were generally helpful- out of 10 staff we interacted with, 8 of them were cheerful and helpful with 1 going above and beyond. The smore kits didn’t have chocolate and then the next day they had added chocolate chips - so we appreciated their creativity. We enjoyed our stay and will return!

Reasonable location (pretty close to West and not very far from East park entrance), nothing nearby, but there is a restaurant in the Loge. Cool rooms, ours had hammock, also there are rooms made of cabooses. Unfortunately air conditioners are not popular there, and it was very hot in the room.

Don’t pass

Absolutely blew our expectations away. The most unique, cool accommodations; superb dining at a reasonable price at their onsite restaurant; coolest bar and classic game room onsite (think shuffleboard, scrabble, etc). Can’t say enough about this gem!

This place is so precious! Nestled in the quaint valley outside of glacier national park. It’s super quiet. We loved the train depot conversion to rooms. It was so nice to have a game room and outdoor area and restaurant and bar onsite. We also loved the gift shop which had games and hiking gear and equipment for a thrift we forgot. . It is about a 30 minute drive from west glacier entrance to the lodge so just prepare for that. Also note there is no air conditioning. The first night we were quite hot because there was nos green on the window, and when the bugs started to get in we closed it. Maintenance was great to get a screen put on the window the next day, but we still really struggled to manage to get a draft going. It was still so warm the second night that we left before our 3rd night and drove back toward Kallispel to find air conditioned accommodations. Otherwise we loved it!

When we came to the hotel as a group of 8 people we found out that 2 couples are in the main building and 2 couples need to drive 9! minutes to our room. They had to add it in the description so people will know. We had 2 cars and wanted to know ahead of time. They didn't tell us about the train that is going every 20 minutes and also all night!!! I couldn't sleep at all. Our friends in the main building didn't have water at all. They asked to fix it but the hotel didn't fix it and told them to go outside the building to take a shower. Our room was a very good one and the restaurant was also very good. The team in the hotel was very nice and tried to help but they couldn't solve the shower problem. We paid a lot of money and didn't like this hotel.

Beware, check if it's right for you

Our room did not have hot water in the shower on the first night, and then again on our third night. We heard the same from other visitors. Instead of admitting / fixing the problem, they sent us to public shower and claimed that the manager will be notified. Later on, other employes admitted that it's a known problem. Just disrespectrul, dishonest and deceptive. The hotel is adjacent to a main train rails, and trains with various coal and other load, as well as Amtrak, are passing very often, turning the night sleep into a real issue. Rooms are not being serviced or cleaned during the stay, and we have stepped on a safety pin, probably left in the room by previous guest. The hotel charges a daily resort fee, but ran out of some small and included items that we have asked for. Over all, terrible and disrespectful experience through our entire group.

We were not made aware that if you don't stay in the main hotel, you either have to walk a very long distance, or drive a mile down the road, then another mile on an unpaved potholed road. If you want your room cleaned or need fresh towels, you have to ask for that as well as they do not do housekeeping daily. They also charge a daily fee whether you use their equipment or not. I am not sure if this is an issue with them or that we booked through expedia but this information was not communicated to us by either party. Also, there was not anywhere to unpack or hang clothes. Not sure what people do when they are there for winter sports..
