good location very close to entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park; While price was reasonable for this area, it was more than I paid for about 8 other nights in Denver and Colorado Springs at nicer places; no front desk so a lot of self-service; couldn't figure out how to lock the door so had to spend time looking that up; clean room but room could use more light/better outlet access and being told (via email/text) to take out y own garbage when leaving seemed ridiculous/annoying given that I was paying for a hotel -- definitely an acceptable (safe/clearn) place to stay and there is a pool I didn't see/use but very low (aka no) services provided so be aware if that's important to you

For economy room, and the price it was OK. It was clean, but the bathtub did back up when showering and the carpet could be replaced soon. It was really nice having the restaurant next-door. And a stream flowing right through the property. Were there three hours early and a maintenance man was there saying our room was ready and we had an early check-in, which was nice, otherwise it was self check in with a key box

The heat vents could be cleaned. The pillows weren’t to my liking. The coffee machine stops before cycling all the water. AC operation lights are very bright. Floors were very creaky, I’m sure the people below our room weren’t very happy.

We enjoyed our stay at Nicky’s Resort in Cabin 2! We had an issue with the coffee maker that was resolved quickly. It was still a little dark at night going up the steps but lighting was available and on. A restaurant “Wapiti Colorado Pub” is in front of the resort and was a great option for one of our dinners. It is a short drive to Estes Park stores and restaurants. We loved “Bob and Tony’s Pizza” that had a gluten free option, and the “Mountain Home Cafe.” We shopped at Safeway for groceries and got gas there as well.

Staff was very kind and responsive. We had a leak under our sink and they came and fixed it right away. Very convenient access to the National Park and the town.

Was in a great location and the restaurant was amazing but the cleanliness of the room could have been better one of the two beds had hair in it so needless to say we didn’t use that one and the bed we slept in the mattress was pretty broken down

The location is great and Nicky's Resort is a roadside motel which could so easily be amazing but is average to poor. Our room if modernised would be great however the bathroom had congealed shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers, the room (201) is just way beyond its years and the bed was appaling, you were virtually sleeping on the springs as the mattress is totally wornout. I would never come back and stay and whilst i quite liked the virtual check in not one of the staff cleaning rooms around us over the two night stay engaged us or asked us how we were. This is a dated motel needing serious investment

I didn't like the check in, or lack thereof. The check in was like an VRBO, I had questions and got no reply. There was a huge amountof mildew in the shower. It was disgusting.
