We really enjoyed being crossed the street from Discovery Kingdom and the pool was nice. It would have been nice for the bar to be open. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, but the gas station next to the property is not user friendly, so take the time to venture out! Oh, and there is a Starbucks close by.

The Marriott at former Six Flags in Vallejo is definitely having issues. No coffee in the lobby, bistro was closed and the atmosphere felt strained. The room was good and clean, but as I booked through hotels.com, it was probably one of the few rooms with a view of a wall. The freeway sounds were fairly loud. Parking was $10 additional. Security was good.
