I came to the hotel to check in. No one was at the front desk. For nearly twenty minutes, I rang the desk bell and called the hotel with no response. I had to get a different hotel. The stay was nonrefundable, and this Baymont refused to issue a $66 refund, because they said I arrived after check in time. However, they didn’t communicate the check in time until AFTER I’d booked the hotel. They emailed their policy after the booking, and I was admitting my child to the hospital and wouldn’t have read it, trusting that I had somewhere to sleep that night. I was exhausted physically and mentally, and this was an awful experience, especially considering the hotel wouldn’t make it right.
