For an idyllic vacation at the coast, look no further than this charming home just a few blocks from Hecta Beach. Osprey Pines is a 1400 square foot, 2 bedroom, 2 bath house built in 1983. Nestled on a hill among the coastal pines & wild rhododendrons, it gives you the feeling you are living in the treetops. You'll find decks on both sides of the house, so there's always a wind protected spot to enjoy the out doors. Just a 5 minute walk, and you'll be sunggling your toes in the sand and splashing in the waves.

Perfect for 2 couples, this home has two bedrooms and two baths on separate floors. On the first floor you'll find the laundry room with full size washer & dryer. There is also a queen bedroom that has a 40 inch flat screen TVand an attached bath with shower/tub combo. Upstairs is another queen bedroom also with it's own TV and a large walk in closet which connects you to the main floor bathroom with step in shower. The living room & dining room are one large room, with a deck off both sides of the room, so you always have a wind protected spot, to enjoy the outdoors. This home has an entire wall of windows, is bright and filled with comfortable leather furniture.

The kitchen is right off the dining room with easy access to the deck for outside dining. The chef will have plenty of space to spread out and prep a delicious meal for your group - the kitchen is well-stocked with all the pots and pans necessary as well as a dishwasher and and electric glass top range for your cooking needs!

There is 2 car attached garage, a large paved parking area, and a great grassy fenced yard, so you can send the children or your furry friends outside to play. For a peaceful retreat at the beach with a small group, this lovely house offers a unique setting you are sure to remember.

Desk in Queen bedroom, if you need to escape to a quiet place to accomplish some work or attend a zoom meeting.

Location to the beach is excellent. 10 minute walk and you are there.Very clean, nice fenced yard for dogs, plenty of pots, pans, plates and silverware.It would be nice to have a hall tree or hooks inside lower level door to hang outer wear.The one main objection (and the reason for 4 rather than 5 stars) is the driveway.

Thanksgiving getaway

We had issues getting into the property due to an email with all the information regarding the process, not being sent from the Host. After a 10 hour drive, missed dinner and cranky teens, I had to spend 2 hours trying to figure out who to call and on the phone/text messages with VRBO themselves trying to get ahold of the host. Once the email was sent, no problem gaining entry. Very clean property and quiet. Would stay again for sure! Comfortable beds and lots of room for fun and indoor activities.

Home away from home

It was my mother and I and our three dogs that stayed for just a little over a week. Every amenity that we could want was there and it was built like home. There was a nice fenced in yard for the dogs. Plenty of supplies and things needed really Super close to the beach, listening to the waves roll in and out. Would definitely book with them again.

This gem in Haceta Beach area was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It is close to the beach, an easy drive to town, and has a spacious yard surrounding it. Lot’s of room in the kitchen for cooking and dining. Overall, I would highly recommend!

Perfect Summer Getaway

My wife, our dog, plus myself stayed for a week in early July including the 4th of July and we had a great time. It was a perfect balance of relaxation and adventuring which the place makes easily possible with its somewhat isolated location coupled with it’s easy access to so many different cool destinations. Would definitely stay again.

Yard was our priority

We look for places with fenced yards for our dogs. This rental came with a great yard even though it was down the deck steps to get to it. There is not any sort of view but a comfortable place to stay while having local adventures.

Nice location

Kitchen was well stocked with various items in order to actually prepare meals. Beds were comfortable. Heceta Beach is an easy 5 minute walk through the neighborhood. As other reviewers have stated the driveway is steep! The main living area/kitchen is on the 2nd floor so you must navigate stairs.

Wonderful nearby Beach house!

Thank you for making us feel safe staying at a different home during the pandemic as a mini vacation was needed! This house had all the amenities you could ask for and even more! The close walk to the beach was a plus and we loved utilizing the balconies when we were home. Great space and host!
