The staff are so friendly and helpful! We had an early flight so got there early and they let us change, stores our luggage, gave us water and towels and called us when our room was ready. Very thoughtful! There was a dehumidifier in our room that got full and beeped each morning at 5:00 am! But other than that all was great!

I would definitely not stay here again. First let me say room, front desk staff, housekeeping, bar staff, cleanliness, food options, and location is 10/10 amazing. Here is where you lost us…. You will be extremely limited in what you can do at this property. There is a rule that there are no drinks (alcohol or otherwise) or food at the pool. We bought drinks at their bar and were not allowed to bring them to the pool. The next day security opened the pool gate for a family that each had 2 bar drinks and aloud them to go to the pool with the drinks. The last night we were there we were sitting very quietly at a picnic table at 10:30pm and were told we could not sit there. We did not have lights on, we were not loud, we were not on our phones, and we were not disrespectful. So, after 10 pm we had to be in our rooms. We are in our 40’s and 50’s. We are not kids. We were all paying to stay there. There is a lot of advertisement of multiple bars. We understood they were rebuilding after hurricane Ian, but there were two bars. One closed at 5pm and the other at 10pm. There was supposed to be live music, but that was laughable. A couple of times a year we meet our out-of-state friends somewhere, and we were excited to meet at Lani Kai. We will definitely not return.

The rooms are just perfect for a weekend stay on the beach. I was hoping for the bed lights to work, but they did not. Very disappointing we could not use the pool as grown adults with adult beverages bought from the hotel's own bar!! Ate on site one meal, chose to eat elsewhere, it was mediocre at best.

Nice employees the sanbal restaurant server's seem to be confused food was ok. There still recovering from the hurricane they come along way. The bars are nice can't wait for the roof top restaurant to open. Rooms are very nice. We'll be back a nice getaway.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent in every place we ate at Lani Kai. The portions are huge, 2 people can share a sandwich or sub, and top quality! Restaurant was excellent as well! We will be back!

The rooms are extremely warm. Difficult to sleep in the heat. The humidifier in the room is small and filled up quickly with water. The beds were very firm. When I spoke to the front desk I was advised their was nothing they could do and since I booked with a third party app, my options were limited.

Absolutely Unacceptable Stay – Basic Amenities Failed Twice Our recent stay at [Hotel Name] from [Arrival Date] to [Departure Date] was extremely disappointing and frustrating due to significant failures in basic room amenities. Upon checking into our first room, we immediately discovered that the shower was completely non-functional., making it impossible to use. We promptly reported this to the front desk, and while they did move us to a new room, the solution presented an equally major problem. The second room we were moved to lacked central air conditioning. Instead, it was equipped with only a small, inadequate portable AC unit. Given the zone typical hot/humid climate, e.g., "warm Fort Myers Beach weather during our stay, this portable unit was completely ineffective at cooling the room. We were left hot, uncomfortable, and unable to get a restful night's sleep throughout our stay in this second room. It is frankly unacceptable for a hotel to provide rooms with such fundamental issues. A working shower and effective air conditioning are not luxuries; they are basic expectations when booking accommodation. While we appreciate the staff's attempt to move us, the second room .
