So this rating is in comparison to other motel 6s. It was more modern and upgraded compared to others i have stayed in. The sheets and bath were clean. No evidence of any bugs.The floor was filthy. Like hasn't been mopped in weeks. The room was supposedly non smoking but smelled of smoke. The area around the property was full of trash. This hotel obviously caters to the oil field workers. The air is very polluted in the area. The elevator smelled of hot hydrolic fluid. The staff called me 10 minutes after getting into our room asking if all was all right because they had heard noises. Like what? We are an older couple. We dont fight .. no kids. Strange and unsettling. Have i stayed in worse.. yes. Have i stayed in better. Yes. I dont expect alot from motel 6. But i really hate dirty floors and it says to me they are understaffed because they dont give them the time to clean properly. Would i stay again. A big NOPE

Room was not very clean, shower had questionable stains and hair. Bed was very uncomfortable. And I could hear everything going on in the hallway all night. Overall just not the greatest. Definitely get what you pay for.

The floor was dirty in our room with dirt and long black hair. We stayed two nights and had to ask for clean towels for the second night. Also had to ask for toilet paper. Housekeeping neglected our room.

It’s what you would expect from a motel 6! I booked it because it has good ratings and the pictures made me think it was new. I will say the rooms do not look near as nice as the pictures anymore. My only real complaint is cleanliness….definitely needs work! The bed was super soft, the parking lot was safe and there were a lot of security cameras inside and outside. The staff was very nice! Motel 6 never has amenities so I don’t know why people are complaining about that. I was happy there was a QT right beside it for some breakfast and coffee. Of course all their coffee machines were down! But don’t worry there is also a McDonalds right there as well.

Property manager K'Danz Cruz made check on a breeze. Very helpful also in locating late night dining accommodations. GPS directions are a bit squirrelly. Take exit 80 off of I-20, go through the light and then turn into the parking lot just after Bennigan's Restaurant.
