Needs a complete update. Breakfast is a joke. Door windows are painted over. Towels and sheets are cheap and thread bare. I wasn’t expecting much due to the price but it was worse than I expected. Workers were nice people but the place is sub par.

The nightly rate is exceptional for that area. Nothing comes close. Right off highway. Close to hikes. Basic breakfast but free and plenty. Internet connection not great.

Was a drive by visit . Was late entering. Room was clean. Room: toliet handle was broken so for three guest you had to be sure handle caught or constant draining occurred. Was three in room and not enough bath essentials:wash cloths. Continental breakfast: started at 7am. We were there at 7am: Drink: coffee or milk. Coffee drinker in group was stating it was terrible and threw it out….quite unlikely for her to do! Other two : non coffee or milk drinkers-and juice machine broken. Otherwise white bread or one flavor bagel—not a plain one. Felt choices for breakfast could have been better if charging includes a breakfast I wouldn’t eat!

What you would expect for 80-90 dollars. Very old and in need of repairs. Trim by door falling off. The beds were ok but the whole place desperately in need of updating. Quiet enough for a one night stay

Quiet and comfortable escape for relaxing. It’s a bit tired looking but they try to keep rooms clean best as possible. Hope new ownership will improve facilities to go next level. In any event, I really could relax to stay(stayed more than 2weeks) and I will visit again shortly.

The price was great and the staff was very friendly. Also, the bed was incredibly comfortable!! My only complaint would be the banging noise from next door. It sounded like a washing machine and it was loud around 2:30 in the morning. Other than that I would highly recommend this motel.

Just ok

It's a fine line between having a place that is a classic vs dated. This one unfortunately feels somewhat more on the dated side. We had some problem with noisy (and weed smoking) neighbors, but the front desk did get them to quiet down after we called a 2nd time. There were some nice things, such as the surprising availability of an indoor pool. Breakfast was in a word, pathetic. Overall it was ok, but I'd say there are better options abailable in the area.

This is my favorite place to stay when visiting family in the area. The prices are reasonable and the owners are friendly. I stay here often and it's a quiet place and very safe and has beautiful scenery.

Franconia stay

Stay was ok. Room needs updating and some deep cleaning. (smelled very musty) Bed was made but room missing toiletries and fridge still had someone else's food in it. Cracked window.

We made a last minute decision to hike . The motel was 10 minutes from where we wanted to be . It was very reasonably priced . We were welcomed and check in was easy Breakfast was offered but we left early in the morning so we didn’t go eat . The place was a little dated but it looked like they were fixing it up and it was clean so that is what matters . We had a good night’s rest .
