Very clean room! Staff was super friendly! Only complaint was that I planned on getting up at 9:15 and I heard other room doors slamming shut and large vehicles outside backing up with the beep beep sound. But that was no fault of the staff or the stay itself.

The Hilton Garden Inn in Gainesville is a great place to stay. The staff was very friendly and courteous from the moment we walked through the door until we departed the following day. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We will definitely stay there again while traveling through Gainesville.

There was a faulty fire alarm that went off at 2:00 in the morning. No hotel staff were present. We sat in the parking lot for over an hour with the alarm going off. The fire department came and left with no word as to whether or not it was safe to go back in the building. We had to find another hotel in the middle of the night. The hotel refused to give us a refund for our stay and Expedia also refused to give us a refund for the stay. I'm done with Expedia and Hampton Hampton Inn.

Rust in the bath tub , shower curtain was a wrinkled mess and barely fit . Purposely stayed there because they have a restaurant- however it was closed when it should have been open.
