I didn't end up making it to the hotel due to a major car breakdown. I purchased travel insurance and also tried to get the hotel to not charge me since I couldn't get there. They would not refund me, The travel insurance thru Expedia does not cover car breakdowns, and Expedia could not refund my money either. All in all, DO NOT purchase their travel insurance or count on them if you run into an issue.

Overall, very clean facilities. However, carpeting and furniture in the room were filthy., And uncomfortable.. The hot tub wasn’t working, issues with the fireplace, including not being able to shut it off.. Lastly, the security is weak, the side door never was locked The entire time.

The flowers outside were pretty. The beds and pillows nice. Some hair on bathroom floor, look like room service could of spent more time in there. There were cigarette butts on the property. The hottub was down and standing water in it. The breakfast was terrible, eggs and some kinda ring bologna for hot breakfast. Staff super friendly. Expected more from a Wyndham experience.

Relaxing Escape..

Our first time to visit Galena. The hotel was beautiful and service was great. We had room service every day which is a plus since so many have given it up. We had a great time and enjoyed sitting on the deck!! Very relaxing.
