We went for a long weekend to Galena and this was the perfect spot. It was close to Main St and convenient to get to many of the tourist locations. The pool and hot tub area was nice and the staff was great. Highly recommended.

The hotel was very clean. Close to downtown Galena and other stores. The pool and hot tub were very nice. The front desk staff were pleasant but could have been a little friendlier. We would stay here again.

It was a great stay! We wanted to check out Galena and wish we would have stayed there a bit longer. Great pool and the view and deck in the back was relaxing. I can hardly wait to come back.

I don't have any complaints except maybe more food options for the breakfast that is offered, like potatoes/hashbrowns to go along with the eggs and meat. But the breakfast meat was great. They had smoked sausage, bacon, and really great ham for the days we were there. But everything else was great, the hotel is very close to downtown Galena. Our room was really cute and exactly what we needed traveling with a child. My son loved the day bed area of the king suite. Loved the extra sink that was in the room too.

The property is situated in an excellent location. The lobby, rooms and swimming/gym areas are very clean. The room was spacious and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the air condition worked very well. We did not use the fireplace but it certainly is a super nice feature when the weather turns cold. The free breakfast is available daily from 6 am to 10 am and includes many items. There is a tea and coffee area in the main lobby where some food items can be purchased as well. The parking is easily accessible and plentiful. We had a great stay and will definitely come back. Thank you.

Good: Nice staff and clean rooms. Bad: even though our room was ready we still had to pay $25 an hour to check in early. That’s the only hotel I have ever been to that would charge if the room is ready. The TV had many channels that were blocked and these were basic channels including Wheel of Fortune. The fly problem was out of control!! The lobby and eating area had flys everywhere. The second day the free breakfast had no decaf coffee and flys were all over the food.

The removal was nice. Bathroom was awesome. The only negative was the sound between our room and the next - especially through the connecting doors. The neighbors came in around 1 and were talking in the living area - not even particularly loud - but enough to waken us in the bedroom.
