The heated pool was so cold that all the kids where in the hot tub but who could blame them.There are signs saying no kids in the hot tub. I asked the staff to clear the kids out but they refused. Ive been going there over 30 years but this was my last time staying here.

The trip to the 5th floor was scary. The elevator seemed decrepit and the 5th floor hallway was very dark. The carpet looked like it was covered with vomit and the walls were partially caved in. The view out of the room was of a huge expanse of flat roof for the lower floors. The staff and pool were awesome.

Staff was so kind, the room was clean, the outlet near the window doesn’t work, and the bottom portion of the pool was so cold we couldn’t swim in it, or son is only 4 so he wasn’t allowed in the hot tub, so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool.

We had an outside room, no balcony. Reminded me of a motel. Only major complaint- no fault of the hotel- garbage trucks run in the middle of the night. Super super loud and woke all of us up. The door didn’t seem to seal all of the way no matter what we did so we could hear housekeeping pretty loud that next morning. The hotel was clean and this was our second time returning. If I return, I’m gonna pay for an upgraded room.

We had no hot water one night. Had to heat water up in the microwave to bath. The restaurant was severally lacking too, especially in the morning when we needed to eat quickly. It would have been nice if we could have bought simple drinks like a water and energy drinks but they are out of stock.

The lodge is wonderful! Excellent walking distance to Gatlinburg. The lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas. John at the check in was super nice! Indoor pool is freaking awesome but chilly. The hot tub sadly wasn't working. Our room is very standard. Like any other 2 bedroom queen. Very clean. No free breakfast but they do have a grille you can order from. Overall would definitely stay here again!!
