Location

Great location, breakfast was fantastic, the room was huge even though it was a basic 2 queen. Only issues we had were with the toilet messing up several times and a mold smell in the stairwell. Would use again in the future, however.

Location!!!

So let's get started. Pros: * Location, Location, Location!!!! The Location/proximity from downtown is spot on! You are right in the center of downtown. When exiting the hotel street you come out right next to The Ripleys Museum. * Room: If you choose a suite (like we did) it is very comfortable so is the bathroom size. Renovated up to date. Cons: The room stinked!!!! Should shampoo the rugs and maybe clean the AC filters. Paint chips, dirty walls and broken headboard. Smoke alarm sounded 2 times on us. (They did send someone and the first time they took the batteries, then a few hours later at about 3:30am it started sounding again and we couldn't sleep, so they came in and took the entire alarm so we can rest. Parking is a huge problem in weekends. I had to park in the overflow which is a block away.
Please take 1 minute to cover this with paint
Woke us up twice. They had to completely remove it.
No towel hooks. There is tons of space for it. We had a suite and it only had one hook for our towels.
Sloppy paint job.

People above our room was smoking somewhere and I reported it to the young cleaning ladies about "No Smoking in the Rooms" to bring this to their attention, when the people above had what looked like ashes falling onto our balcony, well they billed me $250.00 for this when we do not even smoke.

The staff was so kind but the facility was falling apart. The outside had bricks falling off. The worst part was the room. Everything seemed wet and humid. The bedding felt wet. The floors. The room smelled musty and wet. The sheets and the mattress covers had stains on them. The location is fantastic so it’s a bummer the hotel was not. The pictures online make it look like a brand new hotel but it is not. The pool room looks nothing like the pictures. Disappointing.

The stay was fantastic. We arrived early and the room was ready for us. The staff is so friendly and helpful. It was a block from the main attractions which made it so easy to walk to. Great dining all around us. The morning breakfast was great. The selection was different every day and everything was good. Thank you for a great stay. Will come back to you the next time I come to Gatlinburg.

Loved the front desk person who checked us in. I'm sorry I didn't get her name. She was extremely friendly and helpful. The only thing we didn't like was there was noise early in the morning (may have been garbage collection and being close to the breakfast buffet we could hear the noise as they were setting up
