Our room was fantastic, the staff was super friendly but best of all I was so impressed when I had forgotten my tablet in the room, and they found it and held it for me. Thanks for a great vacation!

bathroom

two complaints. The bathtub had no plug and had to use a wash to block it with a washcloth. The soap dispensers were mounted high, so you had to stand several times to get enough soap. I was only to use the shower once as the stop on the faucet only worked once. I tried to register at 3:55 but the clerk made is wait until straight up 4:PM which annoyed me. The slot machines were not that bad. but again, it's hard to beat the house.

The TV in the adjoining room was so loud that you could understand every word. It was running ALL night long and we barely got any sleep. Called the hotel around 2.30 am to let them know but nothing changed. TV was finally turned off at about 8 am.

Clean, but a little noisy at night. Not entirely sure what the sound is, maybe a generator? If you’ve been on a cruise ship, it sounds like the engines under the ship running while you sleep. The bed slightly vibrates as well, similar to a cruise ship.

One our first night there, it was very loud outside. Between the hours of 3-5 am was the worst. Then we heard drunk woman outside our door. When we looked outside our window from our room, all the shops are closed and out of business.

Not My Favorite Stay

The check-in time is a very firm 4:00 pm. We went to Central City for the opera, not for the gambling, and we were somewhat startled to discover that there was essentially no place to eat that wasn't a casino, with the lights and noise of slot machines. Our room was too warm, and the air conditioner sounded like a plane taking offi, so we opened the windows (thank heaven for that) and dealt with the street noise. The hotel seemed comparatively expensive for the amenities on offer, but heat and noise aside, the room was fine.
