Good value & location, great price

Love the location, right off the highway and easy to get to but felt small town like getting off the exit. Motel was older but well maintained and very clean. Beds were clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Had a bar and restaurant on site which looked like it would be fun Although we arrived too late to take advantage of it. Nice little lake outback with a deck. Good value for great price!

The staff were lovely. The room smelled terrible. Something fragrant had been used and it made us all feel ill. Couldn’t find a plugin or anything but I could not sleep and developed a migraine. The smell started to become quite sour underneath the “fragrance”. Also the floor was very dirty. Burger was good but boneless wings made my husband ill.

This place is very nice! Rooms are always spotlessly clean and comfortable. The onsite pub and grill has delicious food! I highly recommend anyone staying here!

Great ski motel

It is a typical small motel. The furniture was a bit beat up. Floor old tile, felt sandy. But I did see some other rooms that apparently had been updated/renovated and had carpet and nicer furniture. There was a small microwave and frig. I could not find a directory on the TV or in the room that meant you just had to keep flipping thru the channels. The mattress and pillows were very comfy. The heating/air worked well.The bathroom was very dated, stained shower. There was some cleaning product that used that had a very strong smell to it like flowery? it really did a number on my allergies. I was traveling solo. The hotel restaurant/bar apparantly had a band and stayed open very late. There were clearly some very drunk men outside in the parking lot one night that made me a little nervous. But the close proximity to Winterplace is super convenient. I would stay again if going to Winterplace.
