When first walking into the hotel, it had a musty smell and seem a little outdated. The office had a sticky fly tape, which should have been my first red fIag. Once we got to our room, it was straight bad negative vibes. I then noticed one dead fly, again didn't think much of it. Then I found another dead fly on the little table, then when shaking the bed sheets, another dead fly. Then a fly (alive) on the floor, and ceiling. Also, the AC/Heater is very old, like push and diaI buttons. I refused to stay in that room. We went to the front desk and told them. He said the flies come in when they see light. I'm from NYC, I have never seen flies in 20 degree weather, let alone 6 in a "clean" room. He did give us another room. I thought it was going to be better.. nope. The sheets were dirty, there was old toilet paper roll from the last guest, the bathroom curtain was dirty, they only had 1 full towel for 2 adults and a child. Again, there was 1 fly. They had free breakfast. You couldn't pay me to eat there. I don't know where all these positive reviews came from, which is why we booked here in the first place. Never again. They get 1/2 star for the heater working, and 1/2 star for giving us a new room.
