Location - great. It's near gas stations and food and even a little shopping. If you are just looking for a room to lay your head then this is it. The breakfast is waffles (my kids say they were nasty), bagels and cream cheese, cereal (2 kinds), fruit cups, and toast. The coffee was hot and delicious. There is a small gym with 3 machines and a tv so if you want to get your steps in, you can - and it's not crowded. There is a laundry room, an ice machine was nearby and so were a soda machine and a snack machine, which were both filled with a variety of options. The lobby has a couch and two chairs, some books to choose from and a tv to watch if you just want to get out of the room for a little while. The staff was pleasant enough, they only gave me one towel to being with fore a group of three so I needed to go to the desk and get more. The biggest issue I had was with the smell and the cleaniness. As soon as you opened the front door to go in it smelled like stale cigarettes. The desk clerk was smoking in front of the door instead away from the door were people were going in and out. There is no daily cleaning but the bed sheets were clean and the mattress had a protector on it. I didn't like how in order to have hot water you had to turn it to the cold setting for your shower and while I was in the shower I noticed a bar of used soap from the previous guests left on the top of the shower.

My experience here was extremely disappointing. After housekeeping entered my room, several of my personal belongings went missing. I reported it immediately and expected the hotel to take the situation seriously, but the handling of the issue was unprofessional and frustrating. No guest should have to worry about their items disappearing during a stay. Until the hotel improves its security and accountability, I cannot recommend this place to anyone.
