The property was cute but checkin was not easy. There are suprise fees you are not told when you book that you are required to pay when you check in. The person the check my husband and i in was condescending and rude when i tried to explain we weren't informed about the extra fees. Instead of being kind and understanding about it, the staff member talked over us and didnt offer any assistance for the situation. We were then taken us by a bellman who told us we were informed by the front person where certain things were and when i said she had not, he told me she had even though he was not there for any of our interaction. We were then put in a room right in front of construction which was quite unpleasant and loud. The construction was right next to the only pool so that kinda took away from the peaceful atmosphere as well. Had any of this information (extra fees, construction, etc) been available prior to booking we definitely would have picked somewhere else to stay. However, this site has a couple restaurants that have really good food and great service! You can eat there even if you are not a guest which I highly recommend. We probably wont stay here again but would return to eat at the restaurants.
