Great Hotel

Staff was always friendly and welcoming, room was clean, bed was very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again next time we stay overnight in Foley! We tried a couple other hotels in Foley before this one and the beds in the others were not comfortable.

The food was ok, but it just felt kind of dirty in the area where you eat. One of the nights I kept smelling something, I couldn't quite tell what it was. We started sniffing around and one of my pillows smelled like a dead racoon. It was pretty gross. The pool was always packed to the max, so we couldn't use it with my family. I would personally not return, but overall it was an ok stay for the price.

During my recent stay, I noticed several issues with the bathroom that need attention. The floors were not adequately cleaned and required mopping. I took the initiative to disinfect the area with Lysol, but the grout around the toilet was stained and in need of a deep clean. Additionally, the tub had visible stains that I couldn't fully clean, which affected my comfort. I also found some towels in the room that were stained and dirty, which was disappointing. On a positive note, I want to commend the staff for being friendly and helpful. The lobby area was well-maintained and had a pleasant smell, and I appreciated the complimentary breakfast. At check out I told front desk staff my issue but didn't really seem concerned . Thank you for considering this feedback.

Great location. Cracker Barrel almost in the parking lot. Less than 5 min from Tanger Outlets and Lamberts Cafe. The only 2 things that were a bit bothersome were the room doors closed very loudly so our door and the doors of those around us were always so loud when guest would enter their room. Also, we visited Owa water park and needed to dry a good bit of wet clothing and towels and the dryer on the 2nd floor read out of order. So we had to just hang stuff in our room to attempt to air dry. Past that this was an AMAZING hotel and I will book them again when I’m in the area without reservation. I should add, we didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel so I can’t say how good or bad it was only that there was one offered. Staff was friendly and the hotel was clean and our family of 5 felt safe. Lots of other families as well were staying, so it seemed like the family spot to be.
