Disliked: Cleanliness
The condo was horribly dirty. The shower curtain, window curtains, living room rug, and bedspreads were all stained. One bed had sand in it when we arrived. Everything was dusty. The walls were dirty, everywhere. The sliding glass door would fall off the tracks, I couldn’t open it myself my husband has to because it was so hard. The garbage disposal didn’t work and therefore the sink wouldn’t drain. Our dishwasher also wouldn’t drain. We ended up finding the washing arm to the dishwasher under the sink… needless to say it was extremely difficult to wash dishes without a dishwasher and a sink that wouldn’t drain. We stayed for 8 days and I reached out to Vacas on day 3 about our issues and every day following and nothing was ever done. All the the vents in the ceiling would rain water on the floor that we had to clean up multiple times a day. All the vents were also covered in black mold. My 7 month old daughter got a terrible cough, runny nose, and rash from it. It got so bad we actually ended up in the ER one of the nights from it. She continued to have a bad cough 3 weeks after we got home Just from the mold exposure. I will say that the location was great and the pool area was nice. We will never stay with Vacasa again as there condo wasn’t even close to properly cleaned and they were extremely unhelpful when things in the condo didn’t work. Save your money, protect your health, and don’t stay here or book with vacasa again.
