The room i had was in need of upgrading. I have used Best Western in other cities but this was the worst one i was at. The breakfast was good with the traditional food. The staff was helpful but all of them did not have command of the English language except for the manager and it was hard communicating with them.

Avoid at all costs!!

Avoid this hotel! The first room we were given the pull out sofa was clearly broken to the point it wouldn’t even fold back into itself and be an actual sofa to sit on and they clearly had to know it was broken bc it was sticking out but they went ahead and gave us that room anyway. I called down to the desk to let them know that we needed to have the pull out sofa which was why we booked that type of room and they then moved us to another room. The next room was horrid! The pull out sofa was broken in this one as well. The phone didn’t work. Neither safe worked. Both tubs drained extremely slow (clearly clogged with hair or something else). The tubs were both dirty like that nasty film in there when it hasn’t been scrubbed in weeks or maybe even months. Hair allover blankets, towels, sheets, etc. one of the bathrooms had part of the shower head hanging off and mold looking spots allover the ceiling. We went to the front desk (we had to go down since phone wasn’t working) on 3 separate occasions to address the issues and we were told housekeeping and maintenance would fix them, by time we reached the third night nothing had been fixed. We were checking out the next day but I was told by the guy at the front desk on the third evening he would call my personal cell phone within two hours to offer a partial refund and what a surprise he never called. The next morning at check out I mentioned it to the lady at the desk and she said she would email me by 10:30 am. Again nothing

The breakfast in the morning was a nice treat. The rooms badly needed a deep clean. Our feet were dirty from walking on the carpet. The shower needed a good scrub and maybe new fixtures in the bathroom. We had an issue with our toilet, but it was resolved promptly. The bed and pillows were comfortable. A good cleaning and stay would of been alot better.

Good size room for the $

Room was very spacious , toilet ran had to jiggle handle, air conditioning working well but couldn’t adjust temperature so when it became too cold had to just unplug the unit, some outlets and light switches did not work. Furniture was all newer condition but mattress hurt our backs. Breakfast was pretty decent selection but no bacon, just an empty pan where bacon should be. Coffee was hot at breakfast but cold rest of the day, coffee was very very strong like coffee grounds. Most of the staff greeted us with a smile except the breakfast lady.

It was a nice stay. Only issues were our keys kept stop working and hoyse keeping woke us up both mornings before 9:30, even though we had our do not disturb sign on the door.

This is one of our favorite hotels to stay at. The only issue I have had is housekeeping knocks on the door early asking if you know when checkout is. Checkout is 11:00am and they knock at 9:30am.

The biggest complaint was the carpet on the floor was filthy. There was red hair and other debris on the carpet. The manager was made aware of the situation at check out.

This property after check in, there were stains on the floor showerhead is plastic and old and faucet on the bathroom cannot be used as it’s only shower and the pool tab is stuck permanently drained system on the tub is very slow on both bathrooms. Carpet is dirty with stain and my feet are so getting dirty even on barefoot. Air condition on the hallway is leaking and became a electrical hazard right outside our door and another important thing is hygiene on the second floor filter system for the ice machine is dirty and not a lot of people I’ve seen it. It has a clear casing with the filter inside so you can see all the dirt And if you don’t check it, you probably would not notice it and just trust the eyes that’s coming out of the machine workers doing the resupply every day are very good even if they’re new and lady doing all the food and kitchen and cleaning and busting. The tables are very in tune with her job, which is great. Another bad thing is there was a bunch of people who checked in with their family and all of them are Caucasian that had used the parking lot as their tailgate and I almost ended up having to argue with them as they’re blocking the way for parking as parking is not available in the front I said it’s limited so you have to go around on the side and even though there was cameras out there they should’ve made aware that that’s not allowed in the property

Book this stay with my family for my mother’s birthday. The stay in the hotel was lovely, and each day they had different food options for the free breakfast. We booked the stay here because of the free breakfast and pool which my mother wanted, but unfortunately it was cold during our stay so we didn’t get a chance to experience the pool. The General Manager checked us in upon arrival and was so lovely. She even let us check in early as we only came because my mother had to use the restroom from traveling all morning. The amenities were great, and we had free coffee, tea, water, juice, and fruit that we could take from what was leftover from breakfast if we didn’t want to pay for bottled drinks that were also an option to buy. The hotel is about a 25minute drive from Hershey park and I would advise coming here if you are driving. There isn’t any transportation, or stores in walking distance so if you don’t have a car I’d advise against staying here.
