Staff: A+. Was loaned the only shovel after the snowstorm. Amenities: Hot water: A+. Refrigerator: A++ (separate freezer and refrigerator compartments. Everyone should have this). Room: Cold air leaking in around HVAC causing runaway heating. Turn it off, room gets COLD. Turn it on and ROAST. A towel underneath? Shower: showered morning of 2/5/2026. Went to shower 2/6/2026 and there was standing water. Terrible odor. Did not shower.2/6. Breakfast is carbohydrates (oatmeal, cold cereal, bagels, toast) and fruit (apples, oranges), coffee, orange and apple juice. A protein would be nice (eggs?) but there is no kitchen. All that.. and it's only a minute from the airport to a bed. Two story building and there IS an elevator.

Feces on three walls of the bathroom and cigarette burns on the blankets. Breakfast at 7:30AM consisted of three old apples and a few bagels. Would have given it no stars but the front desk was efficient.

Room and restroom very clean. Staff friendly. Check-in smooth. Room 144: learned why the HVAC is determined to cook occupants: There's a COLD draft into the thermostat from outside. What to do? Turn unit on and roast or off and, truly, it does get cold. My solution: brought a blanket from home. Restroom needs a lamp over the sink area.

We were put in room 202 on a very frigid Saturday before a big snowstorm. I called the front desk at 10:15pm to ask for extra blankets and help with our heating unit which was set properly but was only blowing in cold air. I also asked about the possibility of switching rooms and we were told that everybody in the building was having that problem so it was not worth it. No one came to check on our heating unit or bring blankets. We ran out to Walmart to buy a space heater, but it could not contend with the barely insulated walls and the whooshing air coming in through the cracks around the heating unit. I called the front desk again at about 4:30am because my partner and I could not stay warm in the room, as reflected on the thermostat on the space heater that we bought - the room was only up to 47°F. I asked the night shift person for extra blankets, and he brought me a thin sheet because no blankets were available. In the morning, I went to cancel our second night so we could stay somewhere else, but the morning shift front desk staff were appalled at how we had been treated, came to confirm that our heating unit was not working, and showed us other rooms we could switch to in the newly renovated section of the hotel, which were better insulated and had wonderful heat. So the first night was absolute crap and the second night was quite comfortable, which is why it’s not a one star review. This was our second visit, but I can’t promise I’ll stay here again.

The room was dirty, everything was cover with dust, the sheets were unmatched and extremely wrinkled (I slept on towels), the hall spelled of marijuana. There was not a coffee maker in the room, there was hairs stuck to the hangers and the faucet was only a trickle. The staff did give me a wake up call on time.

No sugar-coating here. Great staff. Easy check-in. Room 144.. THIN sheets and blanket. HVAC thermostat stuck ON. Does not follow temperature setting no matter what the front desk says. Too hot at any fan setting. Must wake at night to turn unit off. Refrigerator has separate freezer and refrigerator sections (!GOOD!). Good hot water. Single overhead light in bathroom throws shadows. Slow draining tub. No rugs. Cold floor. No overhead light in room, it's DARK. Very good office chair: rises enough for desk work. One AC outlet at desk (base of lamp has two with one dedicated to refrigerator) is not enough. Breakfast is make-your-own waffles, cold cereals, bagels, juice, coffee. No protein. 24-hour McDonald's next door. BEWARE: DRIVING HAZARD: Days Inn signs at entrance and exit on Ella Grasso have dead bulbs and are NOT lit. Staff replaced dead lamp bulb on request.

The room was definitely neglected. There was peeling wall paper and hairs scattered around the bathroom. There was peanut butter smeared on the door. We had to call the staff on the phone to get some help checking in. And the parking lot was a death trap covered in ice. I did not feel safe walking with my baby.
