Great place to stay for a weekend! Pretty surroundings and lots to do. Rooms comfortable and staff helpful. Huge beautiful fireplace to sit by in the lobby and have a glass of wine. Near many different fun places for day trip adventures and make sure to eat at the Copper Door for dinner one night in NC just 11 minutes away.

This is a favorite tradition of ours but the last 2 years, the cleanliness of the facility is not up to the Brasstown Valley Resort standards. ALL areas need deep cleaning as there is inches of DUST on baseboards, etc. Our bathroom counter and door was very dusty and the showerhead was not clean. As someone on dialysis with a weakened immune system, we have to be very careful. We don't want to stop coming here, but the overall cleanliness needs to be addressed.

A bug crawled over my foot while walking to the bathroom at three in the morning. Cob webs and even the furniture in the lobby was so dirty. The place has gone down!!! I told the people at the desk at checkout. She smiled and brushed it off.

The room was a little dingy and outdated but the rest of the resort was excellent. The fire place in the room was nice. The downstairs bar is MUCH better than the upstairs one. Horse riding was amazing!
