King Suite with Whirlpool Tub

The hotel was great, as it always is. We stayed in the king suite with the whirlpool tub. The room was great, but the tub needs some refurbishing. The jets and all worked fine, but you could tell it's been in use for quite a long while. It wont deter us from staying here again. This is primarily the only hotel we stay at when visiting Helen. The staff are wonderful and always very friendly and helpful.

This hotel has a great location but the hotel is old. Needs remodeling. First impression was not good. Breakfast was ok.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The building on the other hand was pretty rundown and could use some updating. The tv did not work (we weren’t there to hang out in the room so it didn’t matter to us) and the beds weren’t that comfortable and seemed more like fulls than queens.

Ok for 1 night

We only stayed 1 night, I would not have stayed here for multiple nights. The hotel itself is in a great area, our room was basic, has everything for coffee but was missing the actual coffee pot, there was trash left on the bathroom floor. We went out for dinner and came back and the front desk lady asked if our TV was working, someone sent her to the wrong room and she came in our room while we were gone, kinda weird. Was not worth the 150$ a night in my opinion.

This little hotel is very outdated in general, however, its very clean, modest, and the staff was great. The bathrooms were clean, the rooms were spacious. The breakfast was not great, but whatever. I would stay again due to it being clean and warm.

The hotel is very cute, conveniently located and easy to walk are around Helen. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, free breakfast was a plus with a good variety of food.

We are local to the area and needed to spend the night while our house was being repaired. We know how busy the town of Helen can be, but we were not aware of how much wear and tear the hotels get. We stayed here a few years ago and don’t recall the hotel being in bad shape. The halls, elevator and floors were filthy. Walls were patched with drywall patches and poor lighting. Checkin personnel were more concerned about something going on in their computer system than checking us in. We know it is hard to find workers in the area. The morning breakfast area floor was sticky and the counters were dirty. I would recommend only consuming pre packaged items. Thank God the room was quiet, but that was the only positive. The picture of the lobby is very misleading. Fair warning. There is a fairly new Holiday Inn and a Fairfield down the road that I believe are in better shape, at least for the moment.
