We enjoyed our stay at Lazy Bear Lodge. Home was very clean. Beds were comfortable but could have used better pillows. There was plenty of space both inside and outside. We really enjoyed the pool table. The ride wasn’t suited for a 3/4 ton truck due to some very narrow turns, but we made it work. Overall we would stay again when in the area.

This cabin was great! The place was clean and the beds were comfortable. Everyone slept great. The area is so peaceful. There was plenty to do in the cabin for the kids and adults. The kitchen is stocked with everything you may need to cook with. Plenty of fridge and cabinet storage. Quick drive into Helen and Anna Ruby Falls. I would recommend this cabin to anyone.

The cabin was great and had everything we needed. From great mountain views, to a smoky smell and warmth inside and out. Our kids loved seeing the fox, squirrels, and armadillo, as well as got to see the tracks of a bear. Anything that went wrong the renter/host quickly resolved and made sure it was done so in a way to not interrupt our stay. We will 100% be back for another cool season break.

Location, view, and amenities were amazing!! The only complaint from our group was the quality of the pillows on every bed—flat and pointless. An upgrade on quality pillows would make sleeping for everyone a perfect improvement in this almost perfect rental. We will definitely consider returning to enjoy this beautiful home with our growing family.

80th Birthday

The house was awesome. The view was spectacular. I was celebrating my 80th birthday with my husband and two sons. The house was equipped with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We loved having our coffee out on the porch swings every morning. The gravel road up to the house was a little scary for us old folks. The boys loved it.

Fun Spring Break Trip

This property was perfect for our group of 7 (4 adults, 3 kids) during our kids’ spring break. The game room was a huge hit and the view was spectacular. Beautiful Cabin with Great Views

We booked a last minute Christmas getaway on short notice and were not disappointed. The communication from the host was excellent. Everything was as described.If you want to stay near Helen but prefer a rural area in the mountains this location is perfect. Just minutes away from Helen but the cabin is fairly secluded within a quiet mountain neighborhood. The cabin was beautiful and spacious with plenty of games/activities to keep kids entertained. Plenty of space for our group of 7 without feeling crowded. Large open living area.We especially enjoyed the large main deck with a great view of the mountain ridge completed with an outdoor fireplace.The only thing that would have made the trip better is a longer stay.

Great for a big family

We really enjoyed Lazy Bear Lodge. The views were amazing, and there was plenty of room/separate spaces for our multigenerational group. We had a couple minor things come up while we were there, and the communication with the property manager was excellent. They were very responsive and helpful. Helen is a very cute town, and this cabin is located just close/far enough.

Beautiful Cabin

Our stay at Lazy Bear was amazing, and the view is beautiful. We arrived at the cabin with a warm welcome - the cabin was dimly lit, and soft jazz music was playing on the television. Communication before and during our stay with the rental company was great. I would have given the cabin 5 starts, but the master bed was a little too firm for me, and the pillows need an upgrade. I suggest you bring your own pillow. Other than that, it was excellent. We plan to rent again and bring our family with us!
