Summer escape to Idaho

Checked in late, about 10p so all the front of the motel rooms were full and I was way in the back on top floor by myself w 2 heavy bags….ugg, being by myself it wasn’t easy but I managed! It was an easy and very convenient location with few places to grab breakfast or coffee and overall a comfortable stay!

We arrived at the motel kind of late (after 11:00 pm), so I wasn't expecting much of an interaction from the front desk, but the gentleman working that night (I can't remember his name) was very friendly and attentive. He could probably tell I was tired and got us in our room as quick as possible. For a 50 year old budget motel, the lobby was up to date and welcoming. The building our room was in was quiet, and the room was clean. We were on the 1st floor and couldn't hear anyone in the room above us, and could faintly hear the people in the room next to us. The beds were older spring mattresses, so they were a little bouncy for my liking, but still supportive and comfortable enough for a good night sleep. The lady who turned down our room was really nice too. The only negative I comment I have about the room was that there was some mildew built up on the ceiling over the shower, probably from people not using the exhaust fan during/after using the shower. But that's nothing that would keep me from staying here again.

Older motel but nicely renovated. This is a nice basic motel for overnight stays. Lots of dining options nearby that you could even walk to.

Extremely dated but clean motel. You can't beat it though for the $65 I paid for a one night stay. If you're just passing through Idaho Falls, like I was, and just need a safe, clean place to spend the night, then this is the motel for you. It's only 2-3 blocks from I-15 and located in an area with plenty of gas stations and food options.

Hotel front desk staff and housekeeping staff during the day was pleasant and cordial. The overnight front desk staff didn’t even say hello or good morning each morning came to the lobby for coffee. Would look at you after you greeted them like you were speaking a foreign language. The pillows I was provided were old and flat. Key card system fails constantly, resulting in having to go back to the office for a new one just about every other day.

Good for what it is.

A perfectly serviceable motel. It is NOT fancy - cinderblock walls, older fixtures. But it's very clean. The carpet is good, the beds were fine (especially if you like memory foam). Check in was smooth though the lady managed to do it using very few friendly words. My biggest complaint would be the internet speed. As in there was wifi, but the speed made it practically impossible to do anything. The AC worked REALLY well so yay for that.

I really enjoyed my stay however one of the check in staff was rather abrupt. She couldn't be bothered to be nice. Also, it wasn't vacuumed around the tv. There was an item left behind full of dust and dog hair. Having said that, the check out staff were extra friendly. I would add toiletries (shampoo, at least) to amenities.
