The location is the headline: step out the door and you're poolside at one of the largest pools on Isle of Palms, complete with a dedicated children's pool and travertine tile surround. The community also includes a beach gazebo with an observation deck, manicured lawns, and one of only two playgrounds inside Wild Dunes Resort — so the kids can swing, splash, and scope the Atlantic all in the same afternoon.

Inside, the condo is laid out for easy group living. The private balcony looks out over the pool and catches peeks of the ocean beyond — a prime spot for morning coffee before the beach crowds roll in. The living room anchors around an oversized sofa with plenty of room to sprawl after a long day in the sun, and the kitchen is fully equipped for everything from quick breakfasts to a full seafood spread. Pro tip: drive ten minutes to the docks on Shem Creek and grab fresh catch straight from the boats — shrimp, flounder, or whatever came in that morning.

The king-bedded primary suite is bright and breezy, with sliding glass doors to the balcony and double doors opening to a spacious ensuite bath. The second bedroom is a kid-zone dream with two twin beds and its own bathroom, and a sleeper sofa in the living area keeps things flexible for extra guests. High-speed Wi-Fi, a full-size washer/dryer, and starter supplies round out the essentials.

Wild Dunes itself is a gated resort community on the northern tip of Isle of Palms — a barrier island about 25 minutes from downtown Charleston. That proximity is the sweet spot: quiet, walkable beach days at home, and cobblestone strolls, rooftop bars, and Lowcountry dinners in the city whenever the mood strikes. Sullivan's Island, with its legendary oyster bars and Fort Moultrie, is just across the connector. Shem Creek's waterfront seafood restaurants are a short drive. And the beach — the real reason you're here — is a quick walk from your door.

Ideally located, this beach house on the Isle of Palms is an easy drive to Sullivan’s Island, Mount Pleasant and Historic Charleston. Sullivan’s Island (7 miles) features Fort Moultrie and wonderful dining options along Middle Street. In Mount Pleasant (8 miles), your family will want to visit Boone Hall Plantation with its avenue of oaks, the USS Yorktown, Town Center shopping and the restaurants lining the shrimp docks on Shem Creek. Finally, Historic Charleston (17 miles) is the number one tourism destination in the United States and offers some of the world’s finest restaurants, galleries, historic homes and gardens.

- You must be 25 years or older to book this home.
- Please note that Early Check-In (ECI) and Late Check-Out (LCO) services are not available from May to September.
- A sleeper sofa is available in the living room as an additional sleeping option.
- Guests must supply their own beach/pool towels.
- Beach chairs/toys are not included at this property. All reservations between 4-28 nights come with a $250 beach gear credit with VaykGear.com. Guests will be able to reserve gear after booking.
- From May-September, guests will need a pool pass for Shipwatch pool access. (Not needed off-season.) The pools are open year round but are not heated.
- Unfortunately, pets and ESAs are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed animals are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval, there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Fireplaces are not for guest use.
- Golf carts are not allowed at this complex.
- Trailers and motorcycles are not allowed inside Wild Dunes.
- Guests have access to the Shipwatch pool, and to the cafes and restaurants at Wild Dunes. Any other amenities or recreation at Wild Dunes, including golf, tennis or the spa, must be booked separately.
- Please note that due to natural coastal conditions, beach areas may experience periodic erosion that can affect shoreline size and accessibility. During periods of high tide, portions of the beach—or the entire beach—may be temporarily inaccessible. We are not able to guarantee identical beach conditions for future stays, and refunds or relocations will not be available due to these natural changes.
- While we do our best to communicate any known work within Wild Dunes or nearby beach projects, many homes are privately owned and we are not always notified of surrounding activity. As a result, we are unable to guarantee a disruption-free environment or offer relocation for any unforeseen construction.

*Parking Details:*
- There are 2 parking spaces available. Parking in Shipwatch is first come first serve.
- To gain access to Wild Dunes, the guest will need a car pass. Passes will be emailed to the guest before their arrival.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.
