The thermostat in our room, 6217 was not working, wouldn’t turn on at all. We didn’t discover this until very late when we had returned to our room. The phone in the room had no button to push for front desk. I couldn’t get a hold of anyone by calling the general number when we got back to our freezing room. The only reason we didn’t go back down to the lobby is that we had been drinking and decided to just keep each other warm with body heat. Woke up to a very very cold room. I was shivering when I got out of the shower and couldn’t wait to just get out of there. Our one night sleep in this hotel was miserable due to how cold it was.

Ac didn’t work, it was hot in the room. Asked for maintenance, came back hour later and still not fixed. Went to front desk and I was immediately granted a new room next door. It was a Wednesday night, slow, but the staff took care of me. Thank you, can’t wait to come back!

The hotel was exactly as described, and the rooms were very comfortable with all the amenities except we didn’t have a microwave. But the restaurant was open and if you signed up for their slot pay, you get $20 in free food. The swimming pool was closed for the season and it is outside. Everyone was very friendly and it was a nice place! We would come back!

Beautiful clean room bed was very comfortable with lovely shower well stocked with good quality bath products. Casino was fun with good variety of game choices and beverage choices. Food choices were limited due to remodeling at Cactus Pete’s but several good choices near by. Great stay overall!!

Overall this property is a clean place and peaceful. It is not 'brand new', but neither is it unloved. It is perfect mid-way respite for any PNW person traveling to Los Angeles or Arizona. ALL the employees were people-people--want to associate with people. None were fone addicts!!! And they were useful: gave answers to questions. None had attitude problems or self-centeredness--at the same time, they were not fake or corporate. They acted like it was their place not just a job. The only thing I miss is the Nosh food station. The casino could use a quick food place.
