This hotel is historic, established in 1897. No tv or telephone which made it a welcome escape from big city life. This bed and breakfast was extremely cozy and quiet, the best sleep I've had in a long time. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. A delicious, healthy breakfast of fruit, yogurt, granola,toast eggs and juice was top-notch! Thanks to the entire staff for our wonderful stay!

A wonderful stay!

The hotel is lovely and the staff was wonderful. The hotel was built in 1897, and it is apparent that the owners are invested in keeping it in good repair. The rate was reasonable, and the breakfast was delicious and healthy. We will definitely return.

Such attention to details!! Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast and accomodated mu husbands picky palate. Also, filled our ice chest with ice when we left. Coffee ready early morning. Very walkable to everything yet not noisy. Highly recommend

Staying here was like taking a step back in time. Julian is a quaint little town and this hotel sits right in the middle of it, making it a perfect place to stay. Most everything is within walking distance. Our room was fine, it was nice to have a patio to sit out on at night as the town shuts down around 8 or 9pm. Breakfast was lovely and the staff was extremely helpful.
