We stayed because it was close to the airport and had an early flight out. That said we were struck by the beauty of the hotel’s interior and its outdoor courtyard with unexpected views, seating areas and immaculately cared for area. I would most definitely stay again if the traffic construction and that at the hotel was finished.

Quick stay the night before we caught a flight back home. We arrived around 230pm and a room wasn’t available yet until check in at 3pm which was no big deal, we got to do a little shopping in the busy surrounding area! Plenty to choose from, plenty to eat, and close to the airport.

Outstanding staff and service. These folks went way above and beyond to accommodate my needs. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I did ask to move rooms as my first room was on the highway side and quite noisy. For the price and location though, many would not care about that. Mahalo for a perfect stay 💜.

A Disappointing Experience

I had booked a room with a king bed well in advance, but upon arrival, I was informed that my reserved room was not available. Instead, they offered me a room with two double beds. This was not what I had specifically selected and paid for, which was incredibly frustrating. To make matters worse, the hotel itself felt grungy and unclean. The common areas were poorly maintained, and our assigned room left much to be desired. Everything from the carpets to the bathroom fixtures felt outdated and in disrepair. I had hoped for a pleasant stay, but upon entering the room, I could not shake off the feeling of discomfort. After seeing the room, I immediately wanted to check out and seek a refund, but the front desk staff informed me that because I had already checked in, they were unable to accommodate my request. I was extremely disappointed by their lack of customer service and unwillingness to rectify the situation. Fortunately, I reached out to Hotels.com for assistance. They were understanding and helpful, and within a short period, they provided me with a full refund. Their excellent customer service saved the day, and I will definitely be booking through them in the future. Overall, I cannot recommend Maui Beach Hotel. Between the unavailability of my reserved room, the unsatisfactory conditions of the hotel, and the lack of support from the staff, this place fell far short of expectations. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere for your accommodation needs.

The hotel's proximity to the airport is a huge plus. That being said, the hotel is very dated, lacks comforters on the beds, and we had to change rooms because the toilet in our first room continually ran and emitted a high pitched noise every 5 minutes. Fortunately there are other choices for hotels in the area and they're building a Hilton right next door so that should be a great choice in the future.
