I would stay again!

Everything was fine- I enjoyed my stay except for the television. It would have been nice to be able to log in to my Netflix or Prime accounts.

Das Hotel ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen und ein muffiger Geruch zieht sich durch das ganze Haus. Zwar ist es nicht wirklich schmutzig, aber der Gesamteindruck ist nicht mehr einladend. Für Anspruchslose noch okay – empfehlen würde ich es einem Freund nicht.

when we arrived the room that they first put us in the lights didn't work, the tv didn't work, the room smelt very musty and there was a large crack right down the middle of the bathroom mirror. I started sneezing the second I walked in the room. the next room they put us in was better, but the lights did not come on in half of the room. when we went to get Ice the machine on our floor was removed and left in a state of horrible deconstruction, hole in the floor wires left hanging out as we had to walk down the stairs to get to the ice machine someone had vomited on the floor. the next night when I went to get ice again the vomit was still there. and on our last night there was no hot water in the hotel as there was a bicycle race happening and everyone in the hotel had sued the hot water. very disappointing for the money that we spent there for three nights.

It was food refuse in the corners of the room upon arrival. The refrigerator had items in the freezer from a previous occupant. I was concerned about sitting in the upholstered chair because it was completely filthy. The dust ruffle of the bed had grease or something on it. A 1/4” red, bead from someone’s costume was on the floor which concern me about the floor, having not been vacuumed.

Definitely needs renovated. Old plumbing and bad maintenance. Hot tub was green. Pool was cold. First room’s sink leaked and appeared to have been previously repaired with duct tape instead of appropriate repair done. Internet is still spotty.

The only negative that was quickly fixed with a change of rooms was that the air conditioner unit was not usable. It had some weird plug in that wasn't for American outlets. Why this was? No clue, but I was able to get another room in minutes without any issues.

The hotel was conveniently located… clean… quiet…price not inflated due to local bike event that we have participated in for the last 25 years. Staff fixed the broken toilet quickly. We will return next year. Well done

The staff are fantastic. I had read some negative reviews but was pleased with our room. Could see how a bad review might happen from people without compassion. In the morning there was no one at the front desk. An hour later learned the person from night shift was staying on for another shift cuz the other staff was a no show. She was exhausted, but she was there. Another example, found the continental breakfast lacking items like sausage and eggs. Could have thought no one cared but learned that sometimes non guests come in and help themselves to the food… as in take it all. Apparently this happened the morning we showed up. The friendly staff made more food for us and we had a lovely chat.

They have lots of parking and the staff was helpful. The folks at the breakfast counter were nice. Some lights were not working in the room, second day the water was not hot in the morning. Free breakfast had scrambled eggs, waffles, sausages, country potatoes, juices.... I chose this place because I had something to do nearby. I saw lots of Seattle to Portland bicyclists on the second day

By far, this was the rudest staff at a motel I have ever encountered. No Ice on the 2nd floor, yet was told just to look harder by the vending machines. No vending machines either!! No elevator and no assistance for luggage. Employees smoking outside and cigarette butts litter. I was there 5 nights with NO housekeeping in site. Had to ask for towels after 3 days. Horrible experience!!

Terrible! I knew it wasn't going to be 5 star, but I'm shocked this is even part of Red Lion Hotels! I'd never stay here. The room smelled bad. The carpet had stains all over from who knows what. A couple lights didn't work, and the tub floor was grey. Worst of all, the wood door had previously been broken into by a crowbar. As a woman traveling with 2 boys, I felt completely unsafe. I ended up canceling. I will say, the front desk lady was cordial, even when I asked to cancel the reservation. I think she knew it was bad; she was just doing her job. Even though I booked this on Expedia, I did end up getting a full refund. Never again... and this makes me question all Red Lion properties in the future.

This is an old property. The carpeting throughout is filthy. The bar is only open Fri and Sat for 4 hours each day. The buffet breakfast is of minimal quality. The A/C in our room did not work so they switched us to another room. The A/C worked but the door latch didn't. The hallways reeked of exhaust. The rooms were clean. Before reserving ask yourself "Do I really need to stay in Kelso?"

Regrettable Stay

Refrigerator freezer frozen over so it wouldnt fully close. One plug in for the entire room. Broken entertainment center. Was told the lounge would be open from 5pm to 9pm and it never opened. For the price I would not go back. Priced for an upscale hotel and felt like a Motel 6

Staff was great the room had some grease around the microwave and the fridge didn’t work. But the boys loved the pool and everyone was really nice. There was also some people doing weird stuff in the parking lot. lol but overall had a good time
