It’s popular because there is no other option

The hotel is not close to much, but does have a shuttle, the restaurant is ok but the menu is short when you stay for a week. The rooms are very dated, and really are overpriced

Checkin, food service and shuttle driver were all pleasant helpful and courteous. Shuttle to just about everywhere was SOO very helpful. Room was exceptionally clean and quiet. Upstairs restaurant/bar was not available to us due to private party booking. That was the only inconvenience. Would stay here again.

It took an hour for the shuttle to pick us up at the Airport even though I called three times. Then after having stayed 3 times in the past and being able to take the shuttle almost anywhere in town, I was told by a female in the office that the shuttle would not take us to Walmart anymore and telling me to call a taxi, which I did and it cost us $30 round trip. Unacceptable and I will not stay in this hotel when I come next year. The male manager who checked us in agreed that we should not have had to wait for an hour to be picked up. The restaurant and their staff was great that is the only reason that I gave a 3 on the score, otherwise it would have been a 1.

The front desk staff were winderfyl and as accommodating as they could be. The first nught, we were unable to locate the thermostat (it was hidden behind a lamp) and the front desk said it was turned off. So that first night was a little uncomfortable. But the SECOND night was ridiculous. There were 6 of us in our party and we gathered in the sitting area near our room #316. We did have beer with us. The "General Manager" first insulted us by "ensuring" we had a room at the hotel (we, in fact had 3). Then suggested we would be more comfortable if we all gathered in our room #316. I can understand if we were being rowdy but the average age here was 60 and we were not "partying". We did retire to our room. No problem UNTIL... There was an event occuring on the roof of the building - directly over our bed. The noise was deafening - particularly the "bass" The girl at the front desk was kind enough to dig up some ear plugs - not great but she tried. A room change was offered but it was 9:30 and I had hoped the noise would subside before any move could be completed. That experience was trying to say the least.
