Door lock key was not working. When asked to send somebody, nobody showed up. We asked for a staff member arou d to take a look and he pushed the door to open it. It was not locking/unlocking. The staff member left saying thats good enough. Then, there was no water inside the room. Had to call plumbers to come and fix it and get it on.

I expected a nice clean Holiday Inn and was disappointed with dirty stained sheets that look like male excretion on them. New sheets were given to us to change ourselves. Did not get an ounce of sleep whatsoever. The pool area was very nice and maintained and made my wife happy considering the deplorable room which had many deficiencies. For example, there were stains on the bathroom counter and the mirrors had black paint spots in severalplaces. The hotel has aged and should be rebranded. The only other defense they have is there’s not a lot of good hotel chain options in the area.
Rollback the sheets to this. Didn't give me a first good impression

Great place not brand new but vocal to everything

So our room bathroom was a little bit old could have used some updating but the hotel and all the pool area and everything the Kiki bar the restaurant awesome only thing I wish is they had a free Continental breakfast in the morning a little bit later

This was perfect for a Spring Break getaway to explore the entire length of the Florida Keys! We really enjoyed the pool, the breakfast and table service at breakfast, the glass bottom boat tour (discount for being hotel guests) and the lit up and covered pickleball court! Great stay!

The property is an older style. The bathroom could do with updating but was clean and functional other than the low water pressure a the sinks. The grounds are lovely but some music or entertainment would enhance the ambiance. The lobby and restaurant area could do with a facelift. The breakfast was poor. Docs Diner across the road is the place to go for breakfast. Skippers next door is good for lunch and dinner. There are many eateries and fast food outlets on the doorstep. There are excellent boat and fishing tours also on the doorstep. Saw lots of sharks and manatees right outside of the hotel. The checkin left a lot to be desired. The guy we had was a bit up himself. There is no help with luggage and no room service or food options other than breakfast. They provide complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby. The parking is free and plentiful. When I read all of the reviews I was hesitant and was anxious about our stay. However, my wife and two 9 year olds had a lovely time at the hotel. I would go back without hesitation despite the minor niggles. Overall, I would recommend this hotel as a great place to stay in the Keys.

I really enjoyed the location of this property as well as the courtyard/ pool/ tiki bar. The bathroom was a bit of a problem. Toilet handle had to be held down in order to flush. Shower would barely drain overnight. By the time all 4 of us showered the tub was getting pretty full. Sheets didnt fit the beds so they would come off every night. Nothing major but basic maintenance and proper supplies would mske it a 5 star review
