This was a great location for visiting Mt Rushmore, Custer State Park and Crazy Horse! It was very reasonably priced, with adequate accommodations. I would suggest some deep cleaning of the bathroom corners and carpet edges. The hot breakfast items were good, but limited. I would consider staying again.

We booked a King Jacuzzi Suite, which was huge! I wish we had a view from our room, but unfortunately, our room faced the rock wall behind tbe hotel. The fireplace made a weird sound so we didn't use it. The jacuzzi tub had many non-functioning jets, which was a bummer. The elevator was broken when we checked out...hauling many bags down from the third floor was a pain. The breakfast wasn't great. We opted to eat at the Powder House instead. Would I stay here again? Yes...but maybe would try a different type of room.

We chose this property mainly for the price. Other hotels in the area were more expensive and we planned to visit some of the national parks nearby. We stayed 2 nights here. We were surprised by just how large our room was , but the view was of the huge chain link covered rock wall outside just a few feet from the window. The room was very comfortable except for the couch. It really should be replaced. Bathroom was huge and everything worked except the sink drain. Breakfast each morning was good. The locations was very convenient for us. The indoor pool area looked really nice, but we didn't use it.

The rates are good at this hotel. it’s a bare minimum hotel. No bells and whistles . the breakfast closed early . Extending it a half an hour would be helpful especially when you have kids. Our room faced a dirt road and there were many pieces of machinery and a workshop. it was not very quiet. It is located in a good location to visit all of the attractions.
