It felt like visiting a family member’s home…the room was clean, stocked, and homie. Very personable staff, friendly and helpful. There are comfortable amenities: a cool little pool, bbq and seating areas and you can borrow beach chairs, towels and ice chests. Nice continental breakfast items and very good coffee. It’s literally across the street from the beach in Kihei, great location, close enough to the eats but private and away from the bustle. Great value and would highly recommend to anyone looking around Kihei on Maui, you won’t find a better value.

We only stayed for one night because our flight didn't match our departure dates from a previously booked timeshare. We were greeted pleasantly and informed our room would be ready shortly. The receptionist recommended a couple of things locally to do while we waited. The Beach is RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET. But we went with the recommendation of shave ice down the street. OOOOOHHHHH. Great choice. The air conditioning was a great relief as our previous stay had none. would come back again for extended stay.

The hotel is located in a convenient area, but our experience was disappointing. Shortly after checking in, we found a large cockroach in the room, which prompted us to request a room change. The first room also had a clogged wash basin. Unfortunately, the second room wasn’t much better—we noticed some insects there as well. As it was already quite late, we chose to stay, but it certainly didn’t feel like an ideal or comfortable environment. Additionally, the parking situation is tight, and maneuvering out of the property requires reversing, which can be a bit tricky.
