This property is within a few minutes drive to the beautiful town of Pine Mountain were you can enjoy the many shops and restaurants or some of our local attractions such as Callaway Gardens, FDR State Park, Pine Mountain Wild Animal Safari just to name a few.
This 4 bedroom, 3 bath Off Lake home offers a furnished kitchen, living room with fireplace, dining area, screened in porch with a ramp, charcoal grill, and walk in shower with bars in tub and shower. Chalet has 1 king bedroom upstairs, 2 bedrooms with a set of twin beds in each and 1 Queen bedroom downstairs. Dog Friendly additional fee of $50 a day for up to 2 dogs. Must be 25 years of age. PMCC cannot accommodate local reservations.

Disliked: Cleanliness
The cabin would be a nice place to stay but there was a bucket of moldy water catching a leak under the kitchen sink. The stairs outside are rotted and about to fall in. I know there are cobwebs expected outside but they are all inside above the living room and all over the master bedroom. Especially over the shower and spiders in the linen closet that I had to spray. The placemats for the table have food all over them. The blue recliner is broken. My dad almost fell out of it. Also, my vacation started with doing dishes. The dishwasher was full of them. They had slimy water on them so I had to wash them again. Overall my family will not be staying in this cabin next year.

Roomy Chalet in the Woods

My mother and kids stayed with me, plus my 2 dogs. We played games on the enclosed porch, which was my favorite place. The beds were comfortable. The Rec center, where we played pool and ping pong, is very close to the chalet, as is the playground. We enjoyed area attractions like Pumpkins at Callaway, Wild animal Safari, and horseback riding at FDR state park. The weather was perfect. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The towels are the sandpaper type that are super small, so bring your own if that bothers you. However, we had plenty of towels and linens.

House was big, but needed upgrade on furniture and light fixtures. Missing light bulbs. Could be more generous with soap. Also towels almost thread bare.
