Unfortunately the lodge has fallen into disrepair and is in desperate need of updating. There is nothing special about this place aside from the grounds and trees which are nice. The breakfast is an absolute joke as well.

The room smelled like smoke and the rug was sticky. We have stayed here before and the room was nice. Not sure what is going on but will not be staying here again. The breakfast was microwaved eggs and sausage. I saw the grumpy employee getting the eggs out of a plastic premade package. The food choices were not good.

Don't waste your money here. The rooms and facilities were nice but the customer service was the absolute worst I've ever had. The tv didn't work from when we got there. After reassuring comments from the staff that they would have it fixed it never happened even after numerous phone calls (or any of the other 3 days we were there). The best part was the front desk got mad at me for calling at 9 pm to tell them about the issue after they told me they would fix it. Then we had a family walk into our room claiming that it was their room after the phone call I just had with the front desk. I know this sounds like I'm just petty but I've never felt the need to leave a review like this before and I'm pretty fed up with the whole experience.

Enjoyed this hotel and especially the location, except that paseo de Valencia street behind the hotel (where our window was facing) was too loud with traffic all night long so we couldn’t leave the window open. Next time I’ll ask for a window facing other direction. Water pressure was great 👍
