There is currently construction going on in the hotel, and just a notification saying construction will start at x time in the morning would have been great. We heard the construction going on at about 8am. But other than that the place was nice.

This property is undergoing complete renovation and truly should not be open to guests right now. The construction mess and noise is unbelievable, especially at full price and they actually had the nerve to charge me 75.00 for my 20 lbs dog that is house broken and clean. I am very easy going but, this stay was bad. Staff was great, I could tell they were embarrassed due to their constant apologies for the noise and mess. I will be contacting Hilton to request a refund.

We stayed for two nights in February - rate was more than double on an average day. I was surprised how run down the rooms were considering the $$$. Hot water / water pressure was good. They didn’t have any spare pillows for the sofa bed aside from the one in the room. Breakfast was poor. When asked if the omelette was vegetarian they said yes, only to find it had bits of meat in it. Shame they didn’t have omelettes for non meat eaters. The sheets on the bed were too small for the bed so they kept coming off. Overall, average stay. Good if you are just looking for somewhere in Truckee but are not expecting anything special.

A step or two above other recent stays (looking at you Best Western Stagecoach Inn). Clean, modern and fresh. A breakfast worthy of the name and worth eating (still a ways away from a Scandic). It was an overnight ski stop and was convenient enough to get to Palisades with a handy Raley's down the road.

It was only 12 miles to Boreal ski resort. There was a gas station there also. The staff at the front desk were very polite and helpful.
