UNDER CONSTRUCTION NO SLEEP FOR YOU

The GREED of this hote in UNBELIEVABLE. AVOID THIS PLACE. It is currently under construction, which made it very difficult to navigate. EVERYTHING was covered in Drywall dust, which I believe requires a dust mask when sanding, yet you are expected to breathe it in while checking in. We slipped on the dust in one of the hallways while goinf back to our room. They were supposed to stop working at 3pm but went after. The worst part, and I'm still stunned and FURIOUS about it, they started working at 7am and JACK HAMMERING by 8am. WE HAD NO WARNING ABOUT THIS AT ALL! WE COULDNT CHECK OUT FAST ENOUGH! UN FREAKIN BELIEVEABLE! We spoke with many other guests and nobody was told what was happening there. I went back and checked on Hotels.com and on the Harveys website and NO MENTION AT ALL. Had we known we would've stayed across the street. I believe the hotel management know this and thats why we were duped. GREED.

They were undergoing a major renovation that affected check in, casino, the Starbucks. I’m sure it will be nice when it’s done. It was probably stated somewhere but I still don’t see a posting on Expedia warning about the resort fee of $30 daily. I would stay again because of its proximity to the ski area.

Love Hells Kitchen

I always love staying at Harveys when I am in town . Customer service is great and the fine dinning is top notch. Only problem I had was having to double pay for parking after the desk clerk assured me my room key would get me out. The hotel charged me 18.00 when key did not work I paid another 30.00 on credit to avoid the hassle.

Parking FAR away, unorganized staff, unclean bathroom, bar way overpriced and bartender has an attitude, not enough staff to maneuver check-out, check-in, etc. effectively. Noisy in room as well. Slapped on absurd prices when you get there. Overall, very poor experience. Glad I only stayed there for 10 hours! Pretty sure I got sick from the place as well.

Decent option at south lake tahoe

The hotel was under major construction. Had to use harrahs pool and while they had a coffee cart, it didn’t match Starbucks. The room was dated, but nice with a partial view of Lake Tahoe.
