Great stay!

The hotel was very clean and so was the room. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were there for a concert so it was great to have the arena within walking distance. The one and only gripes are that the room did not have body wash and the hot tub was not working. Overall it was a great two day stay

Coming Back Next year for concert

Carpet wasnt really vacumed, earplug was next to bed on floor. No Internet access was given to us upon check in. Had check in abit after 4 couldnt do any early checkin. Carvel Ice Cream was great and location to the Concert was awesome...coming back next year

My family and I had an amazing time. I hadn’t been here in many years. The upgrades to the hotel are welcomed overall an amazing experience.

I saw the bad reviews being written during the remodeling but thought I'd be open-minded. I wish I hadn't. So many of the problems we encountered had nothing to do with construction. It's just an old, poorly-run hotel in the least-desirable area of Tahoe. We had overflowing trash cans & dirty towels, wondering why housekeeping hadn't arrived--we were told it's by request only. We had daily "resort fees" and parking fees added to our bill. The old parking garage has such low ceilings, any sizable vehicle (especially with a rack or topper) risks getting its top scraped. We paid extra for a "lake view" room but it was more like a "lake glimpse." No matter what time of day, there were long lines at the reception desk in the lobby as people were trying to get their own issues dealt with. I could go on but hopefully you get the point. There are so many great places to stay in this beautiful area, I would definitely avoid this one.
