Was not a fan of this stay. I initially pretty excited to be downtown but the property was easily the worst looking property on the strip. There was dirt in pool, sketchy elevator, the rooms felt unclean and weirdly decorated. The room was also SO HOT with no AC. There was only a plug in fan available. The mini fridge in the room didn’t work. The only positive was how big the bathtub was. Could easily fit two people. Overall, not worth the 120 bucks for one night, no an enjoyable experience.

Horrible property! Extremely dirty and very rude staff. My parents stayed in the ADA suite and their shower knob was broken. The staff made zero efforts to fix it. We had to call them twice the next day to come fix it.

The view is great, right next to the lake, but don't expect any comfort , beds are hard, rooms, okay, staff are okay, it shows a pool but its closed, i will recommend a one night stay, cheaper than others.

When my camping plans went bust needed a room for a couple nights. This motel was available and priced right. The room was quite decent. The outside stairs show the effect of skiing boots tromping up and down over the years but that doesn't bother me. Only one of four USB plugs seemed to work. No one at the office when I checked out in the morning and the key drop slot was too small for the cards they gave me. But these are quibbles. All in all highly recommended.

Pepper tree is the perfect place for a trip to Tahoe where you plan to only be at the hotel for sleep and rest. Right next to the lake. 15 min from Olympic valley. This place never disappoints
