We, a family of 3, arrived in our room on Monday afternoon, 7/21 and found a thick layer of dust on the lamp. Housekeeping did come up in a reasonable time and dust/wipe down the room. On Wednesday, 7/23, we wanted to get housekeeping service in the morning. We left the room for breakfast a little before 10, did not have the "occupied" sign on the door, and by 3:00pm we still had not received housekeeping service. I called the front desk to see if we had been accidentally looked over, and the front desk apologized and said they would send someone right over. 30 minutes later no one had shown up. I saw one of the ladies from housekeeping on our hall and asked if our room was on their schedule. She said no, and sent someone to do our service. When we returned to our room that evening, there were only two sets of bath towels, and the hotel-provided shampoo and body wash containers were empty. I called the front desk to request another set of bath towels and never received them. We also never received a refill of the shampoo and body wash. For our first visit there we were pretty disappointed and don't think we will return.

I’ve been staying at the Golden Nugget for 10 years and I love it there. It’s not very big so easy to get around. I love the pool area and the rooms are always clean. I’m not a big gambler so I can’t comment on the Casino at all. The food choices are good, there’s a Claim Jumper, a coffee shop/deli and then Saltgrass Steakhouse for dinner. I highly recommend the Nugget!

Everything was great the only thing that bothered me is the front desk does not read the notes on your reservation. We got 2 rooms and asked to be on the same floor. When she gave us our keys she told us the hotel is very limited and thats the best they can do.

The walls were very thin and heard people running up and down the halls all night. The wallpaper was peeling, carpet could use a good cleaning, and the shower a remodel. Wasn’t terrible but also expected a little nicer for a casino hotel. Felt safe, the bedding was clean, and the staff friendly at least.

We liked Bubba Gumps and Saltgrass steak house. We are pissed we had to ask 3 times to fix the air conditioning we were never below 72 or 73 degrees, the plug in the bathroom was unuseable and stayed that way when we asked to fix it, second day the elevator broke and stayed that way. The internet was awful and really hard to get on if it worked at all. It would have been nice to have a notice that the casnio was all smoking. Myself and my husband are allergic and had to go and get mask to make it through the casino to get to dinner. Then on the next to last day we noticed the headboard was torn. We did not do that and should not be charged for it. Last of all was that 1 night a dog barked all night long. In my opinion we should get half of our money back, if not all of it. I was so disappointed due to the brand of hotel that you are.
