Past experience Harrahs was a 5 star casino and hotel. I can not say they even make a 3 star establishment. Elevators were sub-par at most, not cleaned, walls not polished and clean as they were in the past. It seems like they have let they have lowered their standars.

We booked a renovated room according to the website, but when we got there, the room was dirty spots all over the floor when I went downstairs to speak with the front desk they told me it was not a renovated room. It was a refreshed room, so maybe the website should not state renovated When it’s not.

The room was recently updated. The only negative was the $25 resort fee that was advertised as including WiFi only included TWO devices. Additional devices require an upcharge. Another resort just down the street advertises free WiFi an no resort fees. Shop around.

## Check-In Experience My late-night arrival at 11:20 PM was met with an unstaffed front desk, forcing me to use a self-check-in kiosk. While the process was quick, the additional fees were notable: - Expedia rate: $26.24 per night - Non-refundable resort fee: $23.61 - Refundable incidental charge: $100 ## Room in the North Tower Booked in the "newly renovated" North Tower (Room 30313, 3rd floor), the accommodations left much to be desired: ### Pros: - Speedy check-in process - Interesting brick wall feature with TV mount - Nice bathroom layout ### Cons: - Furniture appeared worn and beat-up - Beds were uncomfortably soft and low to the ground - Outdated TV with a bluish color tint - Housekeeping negligence (no soap or shampoo refilled) ## Service Concerns The most frustrating aspect of my stay was the housekeeping oversight. After discovering empty soap and shampoo containers in the shower, I called the front desk. Incredibly, it took nearly an hour to receive basic amenities. ## Final Thoughts Harrah's Laughlin seems to be riding on the concept of "renovation" without delivering a truly refreshed experience. The combination of additional fees, subpar room condition, and poor service makes it difficult to recommend. For the price point, guests should expect more attention to detail and basic hospitality standards. **Recommendations for Improvement:** - Complete the renovation process more thoroughly - Replace worn furniture - Invest in newer, higher-quality televisions

Check in was great. The room was dusty and the carpet didn’t look like it had been vacuumed. The worst part was the bathroom floor. There was black hair and dirty all over the floor especially behind the door. I don’t think the staff cleaned the floor in the whole room at all.
