Checked in and was directed to our room outside in a motel setup to the side of the casino. No rooms in the actual casino building. Not represented on their online photos or I would never have booked there. Inside the room was basic and just okay and the bed was good. I think they must use friends for their high satisfaction score because it’s not okay there. The general vibe is low class. The casino is old and quaint with lots of older machines which I liked. No live tables. Will never stay there again. Golden Nugget next door was so much nicer. Harrahs very good too.

The river walk is nice- pizza yummy- room stinks- very old- no refrigerator for meds- no ice- noisy neighbors so couldn’t sleep. Don’t go there unless you don’t mind this. I got charged a one night stay to leave😔-won’t go back there.

I choose the Pioneer as it is a great price for what you get. The rooms are clean and good condition but do not have fridge or microwave if that is imprtant for you. The bar and restaurant are both very good and it is within walking distance of other casinos and the river walk. It has a good pool and access to private beach. They also dont charge a resort fee other then $5 at chevk in for not sure what.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly! One of the best experiences I’ve had, I have stayed at other Hotels in Laughlin large fancy ones but the staff was very rude obnoxious. I will be definitely staying at the Pioneer Hotel again! Highly recommended!!
